Weep America: No Classic Controller Pro for You

Bad news for Americans. According to a Nintendo interview with GameSpot, the new Classic Controller Pro being released in Japan this summer, is NOT slated (nor even considered) for an American release. Here's the killing statement, verbatim:

At this time, we do not have any plans to launch the Classic Controller PRO in the United States

Thats just stupid. I cant think of any reason to have it overseas and not here. We have Wiis too...

Yeah, but they also may have patent issues... (It's not the first time that would happen to them p) They didn't give any real explanation as of why they're not bringing them states-side, but I imagine this might be one...

Im not really convinced this is the case .
Well because none of the sites that have similar articals have much solid ground & even the quoted text varies a bit .
It seems like a minor missunderstanding started this media hype .
