Wii Bowl NY ... Coming to an NY Near You

Following the crazy success of Wiimbledon, a Wii Sports tennis contest recently held in Brooklyn for the chance to win your own Wii, Steve Bryant, the mastermind behind Wiimbledon, has started plans to organize a Wii Sports Bowling league in New York.

Dubbed Wii Bowl NY, details are scarce, but we do have it's website (dead link for now), as well as a quote from Bryant:

We expect it to be like a corporate softball league -- weekly games, three-person teams, played at various bars around the city. Probably start in September once everybody's back from vacation.



Sounds interesting, but why just NY? Why not start a Wii Bowling league all over the country? Heck, why not all over the world?
