Die Zukunft der Webstandards – Webinale 2010, Berlin

Last week I had the pleasure of attending – and speaking at – the Webinale 2010 in Berlin, a giant conference with 4 concurrent tracks, running in parallel to the International PHP 2010 conference. The great and the good of the German web scene were in attendance, so it was fun to meet up again with some of my fellow Webkrauts and to make some new friends.

My presentation Die Zukunft der Webstandards was well attended, but I realised very early on in the talk that I had crammed far too much into my slides...which meant I had to cut the session a bit short. The feedback I received afterwards was all positive, but lesson learned: trying to put "everything you need to know about HTML5" into one single presentation is optimistic, at best.
