Sometimes you face strange things at the places you find yourself! Look at this shelf... I just wonder... WHO is so creative to place it on the wall THAT WAY!? Every time I was afraid to open the door cause there was so little place... But look at the left side... there are full of place! Why they didn't place it in the middle of the wall????


Иногда приходится сталкиваться со странными вещами в местах, где бываешь... Вот, например, этот шкаф!! Ну, вот ПОЧЕМУ он висит на стене таким образом??? Я постоянно боялась открыть дверь, дабы не задеть стенку шкафа... Хотя, с левой стороны полным полно места! Так почему же нельзя было повесить шкаф ПОСЕРЕДИНЕ стены??? Все смеются над Джамшудом и Равшаном..., а ведь это от части правда!

OK ... I am going to hazard a guess ... I think this is a laundry room in a private home? In that case, it is likely, at least 50%, that it was the homeowner or renter who put the cabinet on the wall. And in all likelihood, he/she was inexperienced at this. So ... he hunted for the wood "studs" behind the wallboard, and they forced him/her to place the cabinet off-centre in order to get the screws into the wood. (In plaster or wallboard, they could not support much weight.) Being inexperienced, he/she did not realise that new screwholes could be made in the back of the cabinet to centre it on the section of wall.

Maybe.

Any other theories?

My baby boy will have unusual name both for Russia and Turkey :smile: I think...
44 days... even maybe less... who knows when he decides to come out to this world! :smile:

мой муж очень высокий и ето иногда не очень нравится ему, потому что в некоторых местах он бьется головой:D
ну там об разные дверные косяки и шкафчики которые по его мнению висят очень низко, а по моему очень высоко, и в ванной над ракавиной висит шкаф и каждый раз он ударяется головой, когда умывается:D

If it was in italy where all the houses are made in bricks and concrete, I would say there is something in the left side that does not allow to put the nails in the wall, like a pillar.

Of course there is always the option that who ever put the thing in place was just stupid.

It is possible to put a cabinet up on a brick, concrete, or stone wall. I've done it; one simply must know how.

Yes it is possible to fly a man over the moon, knowing how and with the right tools. Right now if I must put a nail in the wall I have to hit it with my forehead because I've lost the hammer. :smile:

Это электрик. Он ищет провод, к которому можно подключить светильник, в отверстие для которого он и засунул свою голову...
