Sneak Peek: HTML5 redo of the OmegaJunior.Net home page

Rumours have it, we're planning to update the home page of the OmegaJunior.Net. Typically us. Well, none of those rumours is true. We are not updating our home page. Most definitely. Check our progress: http://www.omegajunior.net/secundo.html
Who is interested in HTML5? Web developers are: those who write the structure of the web pages. And designers are, too: those who create looks and feels. And so are the front-end developers: they convert the looks and feels into something the web developer can use. Very important people to have working together when you want to have your web site published.
But are YOU interested in HTML5? When you are reading up on your friends' escapades on Facebook or MySpace, do you care about the technical structure behind the web pages? When you buy something from Bol.com or Amazon, when you barter at Craig's List, Ebay or Marktplaats, do you go, hmmmm... I need to get an HTML5-browser for this?
No, of course not. You just want the site to work.
As such, we are not updating our home page.
But, we are looking into what HTML5 and CSS3 can do for our home page. Check our progress: http://www.omegajunior.net/secundo.html
We have little hope that the poor people forced to using decrepit browsers like Internet Explorer 8 and older, will ever be able to benefit from HTML5. We like them to continue their use of the OmegaJunior.Net, and as such we will continue to operate the current home page because it works for them, too.
We may at some point build a switch, that recognises the HTML5-able browsers and give them the newer version of our home page.
Enjoy!
