Let me say hello to all users of Opera. My name is Norbert Eštvánčik, I am the author of Opera-prehliadac.com web-page. This article refers to all Opera fans and to My Opera web-page community, without no differentiation of nationality or race.
I would like to write some sentences about how this page works, about its users and say few words about our work and activities in more details.
The page was created in March 2006 and the number of visitors grew up to 30.000 / month. We can say it is quite good considering our conditions. Opera is getting to be spread among users in Slovakia. Our site is, considering the content, the only web-page in Slovakia which helps to develop Opera. We publish articles about Opera, write directions for setting up and we have a discussion forum.
There are more people who take part in creating of this page, for example, S. Mladenek, Midnite, Xbrook and many other...
From the time Opera was created we deal with translations and localisation of Opera into Slovak. You can find LNG language file on our pages, and Slovak Language Installer which installs the LNG language file and configurates Opera without any other interference of the user. The installer Works in 9.23 version, too.
I am very sorry that we cannot include Slovak language into International Installer package through Opera ASA. This fact has a slightly braking tendency in development of Opera in Slovakia. We cooperated and worked on Slovak language with a Czech author Jarda (j353840) who got in touch with ASA (Sarah Lewandowski) in the name of My Opera eith a request to include slovak localisation. Unfortunately, we got a negative reply. Obviously, Slovakia is not interesting so far, what I am personally very sorry for because all the other neighbouring countries are already included in multilanguage support.
I attach statistics about assumption of LNG language file during the last 12 months.
