Well the BumGenius has had a couple of versions, the newest of which is the 3.0
I have never tried the previous editions, which were appropriately named the 1.0 and 2.0
The BumGenius 3.0 is available as both a pocket diaper, and an AIO. I own the pockets in a OS (one-size)
The OS is great, in that it adjusts to fit babies from 6 to 30 pounds, just by snapping it in different configurations. This diaper is nice, but not one of my favorites. Nothing in particular that I don't like about it, just not the first one I reach for. The tabs are small, though, and hard to pull off of their laundry tabs to fasten. One of my issues, but not a major one.
I do like that the inserts (cotton babies microfiber) is pretty absorbent. My son is a heavy wetter, and these work pretty well for him. I sometimes find myself using the BG inserts in my other (favorite) diapers
I think my biggest complaint about them is that they're not CUTE! (If that's the worst part, they can't be too bad haha) It's just that they only have five color options, and they're all pastel solids.. boring!!
