About a month ago. I posted a blog of the 13 mini discs about to go in my car representing the whole of the Funkadelic / Parliament collection (70 - 81) even though I had two more CDs still to get. Well, I got the final one last week "Hardcore Jollies" and now have the whole collection. It's taken over a year to get cos I've been a good boy with our finances and just got one a month and asked for them on Chritstmas and birthdays.
So here are the 23 CDs that made up the mini disc collection. (minus the three compilations that I got first cos I can't find one)
I managed to put the Parliament CDs in the wrong chronological order though (what do you mean no-one cares, I do, it's right frustrating but I can't be arsed doing it again, and besides, my wife will make fun of me!)
Also, America eats it's young, the 2nd non-compilation I bought, and the first Funkadelic one, is missing it's cover. The Live album isn't on the mini disc but the two non-live tracks are (the third was on a compilation but missing it's intro so I downloaded it) and the last Funkadelic album ("Toys") is an out-takes album which I really like and all but one track made it on to the mini discs. I placed most of it on the final mini disc after the last Parliament album as it's undated (bar being from the first eight funkadelic albums period.)
Blar-di-blar-di-blar! Is anyone still reading this???? Promise my next blog post will be more interesting.
(Although, I am prone to break promises - especially when it comes to blog posting)
Getting the first five Bootsy Collins albums coming through the post next!
(Only a tenner - bargain) They're all co-produced, co-written by George Clinton so continue the Parliafunkadelicment collection really! And the George Clinton solo years still to get! I have heard his first solo album which is really good, but not got it yet.

Well, you see that gap on the wall - that's where the heater used to be before it fell off. And the green paint is the colour I painted the room, when it was a study/computer room and the yellow colour is what it changed too when it became our bedroom
