Thank lordee!!!!
You may have noticed a bit of ranting banter about facebook in the few blog posts I've managed on opera this past month or so. This is really a smoke-screen for a variety of (mostly) work-based shennanigans that I can't talk about and which I might do a friends only blog about some time over Christmas if I can be arsed.
Things aren't that-that bad but a change is required and I'll leave it at that for now!
On the plus side 2 more days proper till (nearly) two weeks off! Been a bit lazy today but we've nearly finished all our Christmas shopping and we're putting Chrimbo decorations up this year (we failed last year.)
But when all the stresses and strains of life get too much there is an escape valve and it's called waking up before my wife and going outside with the cats on a Sunday morning, watching the world go by, the birds wake up and saying hello to the dog walkers who I see every morning.
We have two very homely cats and even though they have had the opportunity to journey far and wide like George did they choose to just stay in the communal gardens and the close environs and one won't go out at all unless I'm outside too, even though she is the most insistent miaower before I open the patio doors, hence me getting the outside chair and table out, having my first coffee of the morning, listening to my music on my Ipod and enjoying the cats gee each other up depending on which one is being the boldest that morning.
Life ain't too bad, all told.
The cats are also enjoying their new telly which they got because our old tv went pop and Dad and Mum have leant us a posh HD-ready telly they still had after they got a new one on insurance because this one has a small chip on it.
They particularly enjoy Autumnwatch.
