TEST - User's Menu 4

"Streets paved with gold", Addendum

, , , ...

I've made several new photographs covering the same subject. After uploading them I put them in order - from left to the right, in accordance to sight of the Central Square from my window. You'll find there both gold and platinum colors or their hues. "Silver roads" have their own album called Silver Road.

User's Menu Poll

, ,

There are four types of User's Menu placed on top of the page which I have been able to concoct from the Opera blog code, using Inspect Element option and my knowledge on CSS technology.

There's a poll about the User's Menu on the right side of the main page.

Simply click the entries to tell which one you like and which one would you like to apply if you really needed some pages to put under menu control. For example, I have made recently a new post with all the categories I have created within my posts. Thanks to the menu option I have easy access to it for any kind of managerial task.

The article on the subject soon.

If there are any problems with them on cell phones gimme a tip. Put your comments below.

P2O2 Remarks:
Mrs Bachmann has dropped out from the 2012 U.S. presidential election, but she exclusively represented intelligence and the knowledge of the world issues of all but one Republican candidates. The noble exception being the U.S. Congressman, Mr Ron Paul.

Rock Layers in Photography

For several years I was interested in geology, minerals, rocks, volcanism, etc. Every one of us had such episodes in his life history - be it preoccupation, interest, or a hobby. That's why I like photographs showing mineral outcrops, or different layers from geological past, or unique formations hard to find out just behind the next building in the town I live in. (smile)

Tell me, who wasn't interested in Tunguska Event in his youth times, reading many books about it, including silly books of Mr Erich von Däniken? Who didn't like to read about Extinction events (E.L.E.),at least the one known from the famous movie Deep Impact, with Téa Leoni as a leading actress, who had discovered preparations for the Doomsday scenario?

Those of you interested in Dinosaurs and their mysterious extinction, must absolutely know the notions of K-T boundary with abnormally high concentration of iridium, or the Chicxulub Crater, which was reported the prime cause for the dinosaurs' fate (today there are many more hypotheses for the extinction, all equally probable).

So, If you look at the images below and you rave about the beauty of the scenes, I will always look at them searching for science, even putting aside the pictures' artistic values. I'll always be more interested in why such and such rock formations were created within the surroundings.

Yes, for me the beauty of such "rocky" pictures primarily lies in the hidden science of the rocks, but not only. After all I'm not blind to the art as such. (smile)

One of the Central Square's Golden Evenings

, , , ...

There are times I am sitting before keyboard not knowing what to say or how to describe the event I stored in my PC's hard drive thanks to a digital camera. The evening simply was, went by, and is gone now. Even the memory would not helped much without modern appliances and the technologies they are based on. Let's "listen" to the story the images are trying to tell in universal language of modern photography.

For such beautiful colors I have reached for one of the best songs in the history of rock music:
