Everyone's Pokemon Ranch

Everyone's Pokémon Ranch (みんなのポケモン牧場, Minna no Pokemon Bokujō?) is a Pokémon video game developed for the Wii by Ambrella.[1] Everyone's Pokémon Ranch was released via the WiiWare download service on March 25, 2008 in Japan, and is expected to be released in North America on May 12, 2008. The game can be downloaded for 1000 Wii Points.

Everyone's Pokémon Ranch allows players to transfer up to 1,000 of their Pokémon from Diamond and Pearl to a farm run by a woman named Yukari. Here they can view their Pokémon (rendered in 3D) while using their Miis to interact with them.

Players do not need to own Pokémon Diamond and Pearl to play Everyone's Pokémon Ranch. Players without the Nintendo DS game will be given 6 starter Pokémon (including a Pikachu), and will be given a new Pokémon at the start of each day.

Additionally, each day Yukari will give the player requests for certain Pokémon not in the player's Pokédex to be added to the farm, along with clues on where to find them in Diamond and Pearl. It has also been confirmed that you could obtain Mew and Phione are also available in a trade. Upon fulfilling these requests, the player will gain new items such as a bell that calls the Pokémon to the player. Yukari can also trade certain Pokémon she already has in her possession. Eventually, adding more Pokémon to the farm unlocks new features to the game and to the farm itself.

Similar to the actions in the Mii Channel's plaza, the Pokémon on the farm can perform different idle actions, such as talking and playing with each other and sleeping. Players are also able to take snapshots of their Pokémon and send them to friends registered on their Wii. A simple HUD shows the ability to monitor the time and the number of Pokémon in the ranch.

Apart from storing collected Pokémon on the farm, players are otherwise unable to further train or level up their Pokémon on the farm. You can get two Cherish Ball Pokémon from this game that you can transfer back to your Nintendo DS game. You can get Mew, at level 50, that knows Synthesis, Return, Hypnosis, and Teleport. You can also get Phione, at level 50, that knows Grass Knot, Rain Dance, Rest, and Surf. The way to obtain Mew is to level the ranch up to level 25 (import 999 Pokémon) and then trade any Pokémon Egg to Yukari for it. The way to obtain Phione is to get the ranch up to level 15 (import 250 Pokémon) and then trade Yukari a Leafeon for it.

Pokemon Ranger: Batonnage

Pokémon Ranger: Battonage is an action/role-playing video game developed by HAL Laboratory for the Nintendo DS video game console. It is the sequel to the Pokémon Ranger video game, also for the DS. It was announced in the January 2008 issue of CoroCoro and was released in Japan on March 20, 2008. It features Pokémon from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The game utilizes the Nintendo WiFi Connection.

The game takes place in the land of Almia and you start out the game as a rookie ranger who has just graduated from Ranger School. Like in the previous game one can choose to be male or female.

This game also allows one to choose one's partner, unlike in the previous game, where one's partner was decided by one's gender (Minun for male, Plusle for female). There are 17 possible partners (one for every element). The possible partners are:

Pachirisu (Electric)
Munchlax (Normal)
Starly (Flying)
Turtwig (Grass)
Chimchar (Fire)
Piplup (Water)
Misdreavus (Ghost)
Snover (Ice)
Mime Jr. (Psychic)
Gible (Dragon)
Croagunk (Poison)
Kricketot (Bug)
Sneasel (Dark)
Cranidos (Rock)
Shieldon (Steel)
Machop (Fighting)
Hippopotas (Ground)
However, due to new information, it was revealed that the starters are really either Starly, Munchlax, or Pachirisu. The other 14 partners are obtainable either through sub-quests or in-game events, and once captured, can be switched to your partner at any time.

This game takes place in a new region - Almia (アルミア地方, Arumia-chihō?), far from Hoenn, Kanto, Johto, and Orre. It is apparently mountainous.

Chikore Village: A village located in the southern area of Almia.
Vien Town: A town in central Almia. The Ranger Base is located here, and the Ranger School, a Beach, and a Forest surround the town.
Vien Forest: The forest to the north Vien Town. A wide variety of Pokemon can be seen here.
Pueru Town: A town in Almia. It is referred to as the "heart" of Almia. A harbor is located at the eastern edge of the town. The harbor leads to more areas, such as Boil Land and the Haruba Desert.
Boil Land: Located near a volcano.
Haruba Desert: A desert in Almia. No information as of yet.

Guards
In this game, players can do some sub-missions, also known as side-quests, which increases the chance of the player receiving a Guard, which upgrades the player's capture styler by increasing its damage or helping to reduce damage from certain types of attacks etc.

HP Bar
Ranger Battonage offers a new way to capture Pokémon. Instead of circling a Pokémon a certain number of times (as in Pokemon Ranger), whenever you circle a Pokémon, its HP bar drops. This effect can be enhanced by the game's various Capture Cards(depending on the Pokémon's type), making this even easier.
