Art, Poetry and Life

What I am seeking is not the real and not the unreal but rather the unconscious, the mystery of the instinctive in the human race-Amedeo Modigliani

Christmas gift from Singapore

,

I received a gift from a certain Santa's helper in Singapore. This Christmas elf is Leazz who has a delightful blog called The Castle of Happiness: http://my.opera.com/BabyJay99/blog/.

This is how I would like to frame it:

However, the only frame I have is black and too small. I will wait on the framing as I think the gold would accentuate the gold in the cloth.

Thank you Leazz for your sweet gift!

Hi Dacotah. I love the photo in the header of your blog. Reminds me of the place in Pinetop, Arizona where my family used to have a timeshare.

Dacotah 7. December 2008, 20:34

This may be a dumb question but...can you just wear it? I think it would be very cool walking into Starbucks for coffee with that on!

PainterWoman 7. December 2008, 22:46

No, it can't be worn. It's a small replica, maybe doll size.

edwardpiercy 8. December 2008, 01:50

Ah, well. Perhaps you can dress CJ in it and him to Starbucks.

BabyJay99 8. December 2008, 02:07

  greetings Lady Pam and Edward it is actually a wine bottle cover. you may wanna see a picture from Lady Olga here - http://my.opera.com/Olgita/blog/2008/12/07/thank-you-babyjay

PainterWoman 8. December 2008, 02:13

 Ed, I think CJ would end up hurting herself trying to get it off.

Lea, I had no idea.Homer: Doh! Thank you for telling me. I'll use it during the Christmas family gatherings, THEN frame it, or maybe not. I still think it would look good in the gold frame.

BabyJay99 8. December 2008, 02:22

 Hi Lady Pam. The good thing is its 2 in one  you can use it and also frame it, that way its not wasted. I would be framing too because of it uniqueness. thank you Pam.
