I laughed so hard I about peed my pants when I saw this on a friend's blog a few months ago. It is very similar to what happened several times in art classes with nude male models. There's a story I've yet to tell about one model.

Darko and Andy: I couldn't believe it either and I actually snorted when laughing.

Scott: There were a couple of women in the class who dressed kinda sexy but not like this woman.

P2: You might have to sit on that stool for quite some time. The model I have a story about is on FB. I don't want him to find me talking about him.

Linda: In my art classes, they either had drapery going across the model or nothing at all.

I forget you can't watch the long YT vids but glad you could see this one. It really looks like at art class but I'm positive it was set up. There are no marbles in art class. Probably a skit on SNL or some other late night comedy show.

And I dearly loved it, but not quite as much as I liked Monty Python. Was discussing this with Graham recently. He doesn't like Monty Python---says he doesn't find it funny. It tickles me because it's so insane.

i posed for a class a few times in my teens... without the benefit of marbles... all it took was a draft of wind and i was pointing at the ladies... very embarassing

Linda: Can you believe the only place I ever saw a Monty Python skit was when someone posted a video from YT.

Ed: Oh I could say the same about men.

Scott: I posed many times for classes and workshops and I was in my fifties. Never nude, however. A costume of some sort was required. Since I had lots of odd clothing, it was great and paid better money than many of the PT jobs I had.

dW, Carol and Angeliki: Glad you liked it. I love the look on the guy's face when the first marble goes rolling out. I hesitated at first posting this. It's not my usual.

Seeing the art class though makes me want to take one again just to be around my kind of people. There's always a camaraderie in the air. A studio workshop would be the best though, no instructor there. Just someone to oversee it and take your money for payment to the model. I might find one to take next year.

Linda: I sorta miss Benny Hill too. He was always so nutty and the mischievous expressions on his face were priceless. The model's expression in the above video reminded me of him.

I don't remember for sure, now, but I think his manager cheated him out of his money. Would have to look it up. They did a documentary about him.

Wow! A fishing show! The telly equivalent of Siberia! I have been caught into watching a few of them on our local outdoors show ... These fellows who have maybe $50,000.00 of equipment and still can't outsmart a fish. I think it takes an equivalent intellect to watch and enjoy these things.

Hmmm ... on second thought, that should make them the most-watched progs on the tube!

Graham and dW: Now the golf show would be boring to me. Fishing shows...eh...I don't mind them so much. I've always wanted to try fishing once because it seems relaxing. But after seeing some of the fishing bloopers on Angeliki's blog, it doesn't look so relaxing.

Dax, I decided to post this because I was thinking about telling my story about an art model I dated along with it. But I lost my nerve about the story. He was a little too weird for me.

Well, when I think of fishing, it's sitting in a canoe on one of the quiet lakes in Arizona OR on the edge of a pier somewhere. Nothing big, no yachts, but just staring out into the ocean would be nice. Only been on a fancy fishing yacht once during an outing at a business function many years ago. Now that was exciting. Somewhere I've got photos of that but they're probably at my ex's.

P.S. I think the complete model story will stay submerged with the fish for a while.

Ah, shucks.

Fishing is relaxing, Pam. It can also be exciting. There is quite a good feeling when you catch a fish, especially using a lure, and then manage to get it in the boat.

My favorite times to fish were at night, and early in the morning. Everything is quiet, and in the mornings, there's a haze of fog over the water, and you hear the slap of the water against the side of the boat, and the sleepy call of birds just awakening, and fish jumping in the water to add a splash to the peacefulness. It's wonderful.

1. Fuddy-Duddy
an adjective used to describe a person that is being a downer, lame, boring.
Katie was such a fuddy-duddy last night at the party.

2.Fuddy-Duddy
A tall, somewhat "ogre-ish" young man who is to the utmost extent, a goofy guy. He is at times a slob, a fiend, and very stubborn. But, he is your good friend, and still manages to keep you laughing.
(you walk down the crowded school hallway and the one head that sticks out of the crowd is your goofy ass friend who seems to be standing around amongst the chaos, zoned out) "Dude man, look at you. your such a fuddy-duddy!"

As an artist, I am continually zoned out.

'In the zone' is a better way of putting it. There have been times in the past when I've painted for hours and didn't realize it. I'd think only an hour had passed.

Ducie, yes sometimes it happens. Not exactly like this with a bowl of marbles which is kind of ridiculous. Sometimes a model will have a sheet over certain areas but most often not.

For new students who have never seen another person nude, especially of the opposite sex, it can be embarrassing and a shock. The first couple of weeks of class, it is usually veeeeerrrrry quiet in the room. You can almost hear a pin drop.
