While in real estate, Paul has owned, developed and acted as counsel for a number of real estate transactions throughout the New York metropolitan area. During the past 5 years, Paul acquired and sold over 200 commercial retail properties.

Paul is the current Managing Principal of the New York City Regional Center (NYCRC). The NYCRC was approved and designated by the federal government to raise and invest foreign capital in real estate development projects throughout Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn. These projects are designed to create jobs in areas of high unemployment.

Paul also has experience coordinating private equity transactions. In 2004, Paul and a group of partners purchased and privatized one of the northeast's largest convenience store/gas station chains. Paul and his team also purchased the assets of a New England company that manufactures and sells nutritional supplements to retail chains like Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS and The Vitamin Shoppe.

In 2002, Paul was appointed Chief Counsel to the Governor of New Jersey. In this capacity, Paul was responsible for overseeing a staff of twenty-one attorneys as well as managing all legal operations for the Governor's Office. From 1995 to 1997, Paul served as law clerk for Judge Anne E. Thompson, US District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Levinsohn also worked as a teacher under the umbrella of the Teach for America program. Teach for America is a national teachers corps program that places teachers in rural and inner city and schools. Paul taught American History for a high school in Warren County, North Carolina.

Paul earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University along with his JD and MA (political science.) Paul served a three-year term on the Duke University's Board of Trustees.
