PHANTOM'S RAMBLINGS

After almost 7 months, I’m finally back to the place I love more than anywhere in the world. The leaves are falling and there’s a coolness in the air. I’m home on Caddo Lake..... the next best thing to coming home to beautiful women. The sunsets are spectacular, the sounds unlike anywhere I’ve been ….it’s like being plugged into nature or something …I really can’t describe it…it has to be experienced. My heart and soul rest here..I can think here…and some people who come and spend time here have told me they leave feeling different.
I arrived home to my beloved bulldog Shemedly…waggin the little stub tail and drooling like a winno…..God what we could learn about unconditional love from animals! He was well taken care of in my absence, but he knows who loves him the most. He sleeps at my feet this very minute.
My life has changed so much in recent years…losing the two that I loved the most is still very hard at times …..especially this time of year….. but friends and my work keep me chuggin along…making the music that I love and allowing me things I could have only dreamed …it’s now like a fairy tale without a Princess. As for this year… I can truly say that it’s been the most fun I’ve had since the ********* Tour….or as I called it “insanity on wheels”. We should have gottin arrested for that one.

The last months have brought extreme highs and wonderful feelings …seeing people I haven't seen in years..... looking out at 1000's of people who come just to have a good time and hear you play.........and to bring me back down to earth... a bit of disappointment. But I’m home……at least for awhile ........
