@ Rinse..... I know what you mean about Parisians....I once ask the doorman in front of a hotel, in English, if the cafe' across the street was still open? He promptly grabbed one of my bags and acted like he was going to pee in it while pointing upstairs...

They have such strange ways of telling you your room is ready!
