Identify users with their e-mail address

1. Login
2. Choose delivery address
3. Choose delivery options
4. Enter payment details
5. Review and submit the order

3. 不要让下订单过程不必要的复杂
Don’t make the ordering process harder than it needs to be
4. 告知用户一般会产生的疑问
Address common user

5. 强调必需填的选项
Highlight required fields
6. 让下订单的过程灵活一些
Make the ordering process flexible
7. 尽量让用户放松
Put users’ minds at ease
比如Tesco有一个告示去告诉用户在这里购物为什么是安全的:

Tesco's safe shopping guarantee mentions their secure server that encrypts credit card information
8. 可以让用户在下订单最后再次进行确认
Have users confirm their order before buying then provide confirmation
9. 发送订单已确认的邮件
Send a confirmation e-mail
根据Jakob Nielsen’s Alertbox, December 8, 200312确认通知邮件应该:
o 简单
Be brief
o 告诉用户他们可能想知道的,比如订单号
Tell users what they are likely to want to know, such as the order number
o 应该象公司客服代表一样
Should be a real customer service ambassador for the company
