Additional accessories like a scabbard that can be worn diagonal on the back, with optional automatic activation of the light saber app on while drawing, a horizontal dashboard mount and a night vision camera, so that you can drive without lights would be welcome too ninja

Extras points for a cutting edge, like the MacBook Air sports it. This would be welcome for explorers who have to hack their path through the jungle or for chopping up the occasional block of wood for the fireplace. (Yes, it would be great against zombies, too)

Face Gestures

Face gestures were a famous Opera Aprils fool day joke in 2009, but despite being so, several people really wanted to have something like that. It seemed to be only a matter of time, until someone would actually do it and here it is:

Readable uses the front facing camera to detect a face and enable or pause operation, depending on whether the user is looking at the device.

OK, it is not a full fledged face gesture recognition, but a first step - sadly this app is for Apple iDevices only.

Wipe your keyboard clean, warm up your fingers:

For all fans of the good old 2D Jump'n'Run games Biolab Disaster should be just fine.

Some of the jumps are really tricky. Watch out for the shooting robots (Hint: Fire some shots before you see them wink), don't step on the mines, don't become food for the dinos and don't fall into the acid - but collecting all the test-tubes would be fine. wink


A nice application that shows some aspects of the HTML5 Canvas Element in combination with "a little bit" of JavaScript bigsmile
