FALL HAIR TRENDS
The hottest runway coifs—and how you can create them at home</STRONG< p>
Trend: Chunky Waves
Seen At: Gucci
DIY: Before bedtime, mist just-washed, damp hair with a leave-in conditioner and a volume-boosting aerosol spray (an aerosol spray will dry soft, and won't leave hair hard and crunchy). Then twirl one-inch sections of hair into spiral braids and let them dry overnight.
Short on time? Here's how Fashion Week tress masters create the look in a crunch: Wrap one-inch sections of hair around a medium flatiron, alternating the direction each spiral. “You're just kind of haphazardly wrapping pieces and dropping them,” says Harry Josh, a hairstylist and spokesperson for John Frieda. “When you shake them out you'll get a really nice, loose, ropy wave and it'll hold all day.”
Fall make-up trends : STAINED LIPS
The Look: From bright cherry to rich Bordeaux, matte red stains gave models’ lips a just-bitten appearance. “The idea was to portray a look of innocence inspired by the 1920s—both youthful and grown-up at the same time,” says Donna Karan makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury.
Seen At: Carolina Herrera, Chloé, Donna Karan, and Giambattista Valli.
DIY: In place of liquid stains, Tilbury dabbed a raspberry-color cream blush in just the center of lips (staying clear of the outer lip line), then asked models to pat lips together gently to create a matte texture.

Eye brows: STRONG ARCHES
The Look: “Bold brows give strength and focus to a bare face but are still ultrafeminine,” says McGrath, who created dark, graphic arches at Prada.
Seen At: Alexander McQueen, Fendi, Hermès, and Prada.
DIY: Alternate between two eyebrow pencils—one matching your natural hair color, the other slightly darker. “This gives realistic texture and tone,” McGrath says. Supersize brows by enhancing the arch with a powder: Extend the top using “light, delicate strokes,” then comb hairs “up and out” with a brush.
Toolbox: Max Factor MAXeye Shadow Duo in Connoisseur, CoverGirl Brow & Eye Makers in Soft Brown, Goody comb, L’Oréal Paris Studio Line Amped Up Mega Mousse.

Seen at Phillip lim:
Here we have the strong eye brows and the matted blood red lips.
Strong eyebrows straight ot of the eighties and rich lips circa the thirties. In order to maintain the focus, she opted to keep the shin almost bare and the lids and cheeks colourless. She began with Nars consealer, applied only where needed to cover the skin imperfections. Next, she dusted on Nars Powder Foundation with the company’s dense, dome-shaped Botan Brush. “It gives the skin a softer finish” she said.
For brows with major impact, Ayako dispensed with the typical subtle powders and instead used Nars Eyebrow Pencil to draw in individual hairs. “I drew them in one by one to make them unique and strong”. she said. To balance the bold aches, she selected Nars Lipstick in Fire Down Below, a semi-matted cream colour in deep blood red. Nars Velvet Matted Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl, a siren red, was applied at the center of the lips to brighten the overall effect.
