ALLAH is compassionate with whom?

ALLAH is compassionate with whom?

Expression of kindness and love is a gift from ALLAH and means to gain His Compassion, while deprivation from it is callousness.
If we want ALLAH's Love and Mercy then we should behave in the same way with others, and it includes not only our family members or friends but all humans and friendly animals too.

Translation:
In the name of ALLAH, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
ALLAH! There is no God but He,
the Living, the Self-subsisting, the Eternal.
No slumber can seize Him, nor sleep.
All things in heaven and earth are His.
Who could intercede in His presence without His permission?
He knows what appears in front of and behind His creatures.
Nor can they encompass any knowledge of Him except what he wills.
His throne extends over the heavens and the earth,
and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them,
for He is the Highest and Most Exalted.

The merits of Ayat al-Kursi have been mentioned in numerous hadiths. Although the Quran itself and every verse therein are of excellence, Ayat al-Kursi is certainly the most excellent verse of all its verses. This verse is called Ayat al-Kursi due to the word “Kursi” (Throne) being mentioned in it.

Imam Muslim wrote that Ubayy bin Ka‘b (ALLAH be well pleased with him) narrated that one day, the Prophet (pbuh) asked “O Ubayy! What is the most excellent verse of the Quran?” Ubayy replied, “ALLAH and His Messenger know best.” The Prophet (pbuh) said, “In your opinion, what is the most excellent verse of the Quran?” Ubayy bin Ka‘b replied, “ALLAH – There is no god but He”(i.e. Ayat al-Kursi). The Prophet (pbuh) placed his hand on his chest and said, “O Ubayy bin Ka‘b! May your knowledge be pleasant for you.”
[Sahih Muslim: Fada’il al-Qur’an, under Surat al-Kahf & Ayat al-Kursi. Imam Muslim]

Imam Tirmidhi wrote that Abu Hurayrah (ALLAH be well pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (ALLAH bless him and give him peace) said that whomsoever recites the first verses of Surat al-Mu’minun and then Ayat al-Kursi in the morning, will remain under the protection of ALLAH Most High until the evening. Similarly, whomsoever reads this during the night, will remain under the protection of ALLAH Most High until the morning.
[al-Jam’ al-Tirmidhi: Tafsir of Surat al-Baqarah, under Ayat al-Kursi. Imam al-Tirmidhi]

Imam Abu Dawud wrote that Wathala (ALLAH be well pleased with him) reported that one day a man came to the Prophet (ALLAH bless him and give him peace) and asked, “What is the most excellent verse of the Quran?” The Prophet (ALLAH bless him and give him peace) replied, “Ayat al-Kursi.”
[Sunan Abi Dawud: Fada’il al-Qur’an. Imam Abu Dawud]

Asma’ bint Yazid (ALLAH be well pleased with her) reported that the Prophet (ALLAH bless him and give him peace) said that al-ism al-a‘zam (The greatest name of ALLAH Most High) is contained within Ayat al-Kursi.
[Darmi: Chapter Fada’il al-Quran. Imam Darmi]

Qadi Thana’ullah wrote that Abu Hurayrah (ALLAH be well pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (ALLAH bless him and give him peace) said that Ayat al-Kursi is the chief of all verses of the Quran. Anas (ALLAH be well pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (ALLAH bless him and give him peace) said that Ayat al-Kursi is equal to a quarter of the Quran. Abu Amamah (ALLAH be well pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (ALLAH bless him and give him peace) said that whomsoever recites Ayat al-Kursi in the night before sleeping, ALLAH Most High will protect him, his house and the neighbouring houses.
[Tafsir al-Mazhari: Under Ayat al-Kursi. Qadi Thana’ullah Pani-pathi]

Imam Bukhari wrote that Abu Hurayrah (ALLAH be well pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) deputised me to keep Sadaqah of Ramadan. Someone came and started taking handfuls of the Sadaqah, quickly. I took hold of him and said, “By ALLAH, I will take you to the Messenger of ALLAH.” He said, “I am needy and have many dependents.” I released him, and in the morning the Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) asked me, “What did your prisoner do yesterday?” I said, “O Messenger of ALLAH! The person complained of being needy and of having many dependents, so, I pitied him and let him go.” The Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) said, “Indeed, he told you a lie and he will return.” I believed that he would return again as the Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) had told me that he would return. So, I waited for him watchfully. When he returned and started stealing handfuls of foodstuff, I caught hold of him again and said, “I will definitely take you to the Messenger of ALLAH. He said, “Leave me, for I am very needy and have many dependents. I promise I will not come back again.” I pitied him and let him go.
In the morning the Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) asked me, “What did your prisoner do?” I replied, “O Messenger of Allah! He complained of his great need and of too many dependents, so I took pity on him and set him free.” The Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) said, “Verily, he told you a lie and he will return.” I waited for him attentively for the third time, and when he came and started stealing handfuls of the Sadaqah, I caught hold of him and said, “I will surely take you to the Messenger of ALLAH as it is the third time you promise not to return, yet you break your promise and come.” He said, “Forgive me and I will teach you some words with which ALLAH will benefit you.” I asked, “What are they?” He replied, “Whenever you go to bed, recite Ayat al-Kursi: ‘ALLAH – There is no God but He, the Living, the Everlasting,’ till you finish the whole verse. If you do so, ALLAH will appoint a guard for you who will stay with you and no devil will come near you till morning.” So, I released him. In the morning, the Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) asked, “What did your prisoner do yesterday?” I replied, “He claimed that he would teach me some words by which ALLAH will benefit me, so I let him go.” The Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) asked, “What are they?” I replied, “He said to me, ‘Whenever you go to bed, recite Ayat al-Kursi from the beginning to the end: ‘ALLAH – There is no God but He, the Living, the Everlasting.’ He further said to me, ‘If you do so, ALLAH will appoint a guard for you, who will stay with you, and no devil will come near you till morning.’ (Abu Hurayrah or another sub-narrator) added that they (the companions) were very keen to do good deeds. The Prophet (pbuh) said, “He really spoke the truth, although he is an absolute liar. Do you know whom you were talking to, these three nights, O Abu Hurayra?” Abu Hurayra said, “No.” He said, “It was the Devil.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari: Book of Wakalah. Imam al-Bukhari]

Rasool ALLAH peace be upon him said, "Whoever recites Aayatul Kursi after every Fard (Fard Salat). Only death is keeping him/her from entering Jannah. (As soon as he/she dies, will enter Jannah)
(Nisa'i, Ibne Habban, Ibnelsani A'n Abi Amatah Albahili Radiallah Anhu)

It's in another Hadis that Reciting Ayatul Kursi after one Fard (Fard Salat) will stay in ALLAH's protection until the next Salat.
(Tibrani Fil Kabeer, A'n Alhasan Bin Ali Radiallah Anhu)

Imam Bihaqi States that the one who recites Ayatul Kursi before falling asleep, ALLAH Tala gives protection to his/her home and his/her Family.
(Marqat Sharah Mishkaat, Mulla Ali Qaderi, vol. 2 pp. 583)

It's in another Hadis Jinns and Shaitans do not come close to the house in which Ayatul Kursi is recited. (Tirmizi Altargheeb Wal Tarheeb Lilmanzari vol.2 pp.631)

Translation
1 All praises and thanks be to ALLAH, Who (Alone) created the heavens and the earth, and originated the darkness and the light, yet those who disbelieve hold others as equal with their Lord.
2 He it is Who has created you from clay, and then has decreed a stated term (for you to die). And there is with Him another determined term (for you to be resurrected), yet you doubt (in the Resurrection).
3 And He is ALLAH (to be worshipped Alone) in the heavens and on the earth, He knows what you conceal and what you reveal, and He knows what you earn (good or bad).
4 And never an Ayah (sign) comes to them from the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, but that they have been turning away from it.
Al-An’am 6:1-4 [This Surah has a total of 165 verses]

Jabir (radiAllahu anhu) reported that The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘So many Angels accompanied its revelation that the horizon was covered with them’ [Hakim, Dhahabi & Baihaqi]

The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘The Qur’an was revealed in one fifth part, whoever memorised it in one fifth parts would not forget it. Except for Surah al An’am, which was revelaed in it’s entirity, seen off by seventy angels from each heaven until they delivered it to the Prophet. Never has it been recited over a sick person, without ALLAH granting him a cure’ [Baihaqi & Khatib]

Umar ibn al-Khattab (radiAllahu anhu) reported that The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, “Surah An’aam is from the core of the Qur’an” [Tafsir of al-Qurtubi]

"Our Lord! place us not with the unjust."

"Our Lord! place us not with the unjust."

BEAUTY OF THE QUR'AN

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

Islam demands from its followers a complete presence, just like a person cannot be in two different cars at a time, in the same way one cannot be in Islam and disbelief at the same time. Islam must be applied in all aspects of life by those who claim to follow it. Different attitudes in different situations and the idea to please everyone is not what this verse of the Qur’an is conveying to us.
Not to be in Islam completely is like following the footsteps of our greatest enemy, and enemies do not lead you to comforts, but their mission is your destruction. After knowing the reality how many of us still want to follow our enemy blindly?
ALLAH has given clear evidence to us and its our choice to choose our way, and ALLAH has all the Power to treat the transgressors in whatever way He pleases

ALLAH shows us His Signs

Fussilat, 41:53
ALLAH shows us His Signs
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their ownselves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Quran) is the truth. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things? [41:53]

Today when science has made considerable advances in all its fields, it is much easier now than ever before to comprehend the Signs of ALLAH which are mentioned in the Qur’an and find the truth. Only a few examples are mentioned below for the readers to reflect upon them and see for his/her own self the manifestation of the Word of ALLAH.

1. THE BIG BANG
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? [21: 30]

SCIENCE TELLS US:
1.There was a huge explosion (technically, there was no explosion, but space started to expand... don't ask how or why, because Physicists do not know what happened before the "bang")
2. Energy is converted into matter and anti-matter. But the conversion produces a little more matter than anti-matter (again, we don't know why). Most anti-matter have annihilated with matter (procuding energy). The remaining matter is scattered in all directions due to the expansion of and begins to cool.
3. First, quarks clump together into protons and neutrons and then protons capture electrons to form Hydrogen atoms.
4. The explosion of the Big Bang only formed Hydrogen and Helium
Later, Gravity pulls the Hydrogen and Helium together to form stars, and galaxies
5. Heavier elements (Carbon, Oxygen, etc) are formed inside stars
6. Stars burned out and exploded and expelled the heavier elements (carbon and oxygen (and other elements)) that formed planets

2. ALL LIVING THINGS ARE MADE FROM WATER
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
….We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?” [Al-Qur’an 21:30]

SCIENCE TELLS US:
Only after advances have been made in science, do we now know that
cytoplasm, the basic substance of the cell is made up of 80% water.
Cytoplasm is basically the substance that fills the cell. It is a jelly-like material that is eighty percent water and usually clear in color. It is more like a viscous (thick) gel than a watery substance, but it liquefies when shaken or stirred. Cytoplasm, which can also be referred to as cytosol, means cell substance. This name is very fitting because cytoplasm is the substance of life that serves as a molecular soup in which all of the cell's organelles are suspended and held together by a fatty membrane. The cytoplasm is found inside the cell membrane, surrounding the nuclear envelope and the cytoplasmic organelles. [sln.fi.edu/qa97/biology/cells/cell3.html]

Modern research has also revealed that most organisms consist of 50% to 90% water and that every living entity requires water for its existence.

3.MOUNTAINS BALANCE THE EARTH
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
And We have set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with them, and We have made therein broad highways (between mountains) for them to pass through: that they may receive Guidance. [21: 31]

In chapter Nahl v.15, ALLAH says:
“And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves.”
(These verses includes an indication to the formation of mountains by casting from the bottom to the top as these mountains are protruded to help in stabilizing the earth so as not to be shaken or disturbed.)

SCIENCE TELLS US:
Scientists say that the mountains contribute significantly in fixing the earth crust it has a shape like a peg, so they work on balancing the earth. Their roots are deep in the ground. Geologists discovered that for every curved object' height that is above the earth's surface (such as mountains and hills) it is expanded 10 to 15 times more inside earth.
For for instance, if a mountain's height is 4,000 feet, then its expansion inside the earth is approximately 40,000 to 60,000 feet.
This expansion inside the earth, according to what they (the geologists) claim, keeps the earth together while its revolving in a high speed around itself, and prevents it from getting out of balance and shaking while revolving.
If mountains and hills didn't exist today, then the earth's incredible fast rotation around itself would be shaky and we would be having earth quakes every minute of our lives.

4. ATMOSPHERE A PROTECTING SHIELD
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
And We have made the heaven (the sky) a roof, safe and well guarded. Yet they turn away from its signs [21:32]

SCIENCE TELLS US:
The atmosphere is a gaseous envelope of 10,000 km surrounding our planet, invisible to the eye. Millions of meteorites of varying sizes keep falling from space in the direction of our world. Despite its transparent structure, our atmosphere puts up a bold front against this meteorite bombardment like a steel shield. Had it not been for this feature, there would have been no life on earth, and our world would have been riddled with holes. Man witnessed a sample of it when he landed on the moon. Meteor showers kept hitting the surface and the meteoric bodies of greater volume penetrated the crust of the moon, digging deep holes on it. Meteors strike the molecules in the atmosphere with a great speed, and the heat generated turns them into dust particles before disappearing in the air.

The atmosphere also has the function filtering the harmful rays of the sun (Ozone layer), protecting life on earth against extinction. This ingenious design partially absorbs incident electromagnetic radiation. Thus, the atmosphere filters the rays harmful to life while letting the rays that foster life on earth pass through. The heavens perfectly perform the duties and functions apportioned to them by ALLAH, and unfold before the eyes of those able to discriminate intelligent and teleological creation.

5. FORMATION OF RAIN
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain). Till when they have carried a heavy laden cloud, We drive it to a land that is dead, then We cause water (rain) to descend thereon. Then We produce every kind of fruit therewith. Similarly, We shall raise up the dead, so that you may remember or take heed. [7:57]

SCIENCE TELLS US:
How rain forms remained a great mystery for people for a long time. Only after weather radar was invented, was it possible to discover the stages by which rain is formed.

The formation of rain takes place in three stages. First, the "raw material" of rain rises up into the air. Later clouds are formed. Finally, rain drops appear.
These stages are clearly defined in the Qur'an centuries ago where precise information is given about the formation of rain:
“It is ALLAH Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until you see rain-drops issue from the midst thereof, then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills, behold, they do rejoice! (Surat ar-Room, 48)
Now, let us look at the three stages mentioned in both verses;

1ST STAGE: "It is ALLAH Who sends the winds..."
Countless air bubbles formed by the foaming in the oceans continuously burst and cause water particles to be ejected towards the sky. These particles, which are rich in salt, are then carried away by winds and move upwards in the atmosphere. These particles, which are called aerosols, form clouds by collecting around themselves the water vapor, which again ascends from the seas, as tiny drops by a mechanism called "water trap"

2ND STAGE: " ...and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments..."
The clouds form from the water vapor that condenses around the salt crystals or the dust particles in the air. Because the water drops in these are very small (with a diameter between 0.01 and 0.02 mm), the clouds are suspended in the air and they spread in the sky. Thus the sky is covered with clouds.

3RD STAGE: "...until you see rain-drops issue from the midst thereof."

Water particles that surround salt crystals and dust particles thicken and form rain drops. So, the drops, which become heavier than air, depart from the clouds, and start to fall on the ground as rain.

Every stage in the formation of rain is told in the verses of the Qur'an. Furthermore, these stages are explained in the right sequence. Just as with many other natural phenomena in the world, it is again the Qur'an that provides the most correct explanation about this phenomenon as well, and more, that has announced these facts to people centuries before they were discovered by science.

6. ESCAPE VELOCITY
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
“O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from ALLAH)!” [Ar-Rahman 55:33]

The arabic word used in this ayah which must be understood before saying further about Escape Velocity is ‘Sultan’it which is an Arabic language abstract noun meaning "strength", "authority", or "rulership", derived from the masdar سلطة sulṭah, meaning "authority" or "power".

SCIENCE TELLS US:
Escape Velocity is the minimum speed that a body must attain to escape a gravitational field completely.
If you throw an object straight up, it will rise until the negative acceleration of gravity stops it, then returns it to Earth. Gravity's force diminishes as distance from the center of the Earth increase. So if you can throw the object with enough initial upward velocity (speed in a particular direction) so that gravity's decreasing force can never quite slow it to a complete stop, its decreasing velocity can always be just high enough to overcome gravity's pull. The initial velocity needed to achieve that condition is called escape velocity.
From the surface of the Earth, escape velocity (ignoring air friction) is about 7 miles per second, or 25,000 miles per hour. Given that initial speed, an object needs no additional force applied to completely escape Earth's gravity.
[Paul Walorski, B.A. Physics, Part-time Physics Instructor]

What catches my attention every time I read this verse is that ALLAH Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, is pointing out so many years ago, when nobody could even think of going in the outer space, to the fact that it is possible to escape into the space, by saying, ‘If you have the power to get away from the boundries of the heavens and the earth, then get away!’ ALLAH (SWT) did not say that you cannot get away, but just after pointing out to the possibility of it, ALLAH (SWT) mentions how it could be done by telling us that you cannot do that, but with ALLAH’s Authority and strength, power and force. And this is what Escape Velocity explains.
And if the escape velocity is not enough then due to air friction the temperature of an object (trying to escape) rises so much that it consumed by fire and it burns away. No wonder in the next ayah ALLAH (SWT) says, what may be pointing to this air friction and burning up of any matter which has the escape velocity below than required;
“Then O jinns and men! Which of your Rabb’s Authorities will you both deny? The flames of fire and molten brass will be unleashed on you both, (jinn and men) and you will not be able to defend yourselves.”
The word boundries is also very interesting as it throws light on the limits of the gravitational field.

7. BIOMETRICS
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
"Does man think that WE Cannot assemble his bones? Nay, WE are able to put Together in perfect order The very tips of his fingers." [AL-QUR'AN 75:3-4]

Unbelievers argue regarding resurrection taking place after bones of dead people have disintegrated in the earth and how each individual would be identified on the Day of Judgement. ALMIGHTY ALLAH answers that HE can not only assemble our bones but can also reconstruct perfectly our very fingertips. This point needs some pondering that, Why does the QUR'AN, while speaking about determination of the identity of the individual, speak specifically about fingertips?

SCIENCE TELLS US:
In 1880, fingerprinting became the scientific method of identification, after research done by Sir Francis Golt, which revealed that no two persons in the world can ever have exactly the same fingerprint pattern.
This amazing discovery speaks loudly about the Master, the Lord of all and His Greatness, which is far from us to comprehend. We cannot even get the slightest of idea about the Sovereignty of our Rabb in the true sence. ALLAH says in Surah Al-Isra that, “…. And not, you have been given but little knowledge.” [17: 85]

8. PAIN RECEPTORS IN SKIN
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
"Those who reject Our signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire; as often as their skins are roasted through, WE shall change them for fresh skins, That they may taste The Penalty: for ALLAH Is Exalted in Power, Wise." [AL-QUR'AN 4:56]

SCIENCE TELLS US:
It was thought that the sense of feeling and pain was only dependent on the brain. Recent discoveries prove that there are pain receptors present in the skin without which a person would not be able to feel pain. When a doctor examines a patient suffering from burn injuries, he verifies the degree of burns by a pinprick. If the patient feels pain, the doctor is happy, because it indicates that the burns are superficial and the pain receptors are intact. On the other hand if the patient does not feel any pain, it indicates that it is a deep burn and the pain receptors have been destroyed. The QUR'AN gives an indication of the existence of pain receptors in the above verse.

9. BARRIOR BETWEEN TWO SEAS
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.[25:53]

SCIENCE TELLS US:
Oceanographers, in the wake of the scientific progress in this age, have discovered the barrier between two seas. They have found that a barrier separates two neighboring seas. The barrier moves between them, and it is called by scientists “a front” compared to the front between two armies. By virtue of this barrier each sea retains its own characteristics which ALLAH (SWT) has assigned to it and which are suitable for the organisms living in that environment.
Because of this barrier, the two neighboring seas mingle so slowly that the amount of water that passes from one sea to the other acquires the characteristics of the other sea while crossing the barrier which overturns the waters crossing from one sea to the other, keeping each sea with its own characteristics.

10. THE BIG CRUNCH
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
That Day We will fold up heaven like folding up the pages of a book. As We originated the first creation so We will regenerate it. It is a promise binding on Us. That is what We will do. (Qur’an, 21:104)

SCIENCE TELLS US:
The Big Crunch is one of the scenarios predicted by scientists in which the Universe may end. Just like many others, it is based on Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity. That is, if the Big Bang describes how the Universe most possibly began, the Big Crunch describes how it will end as a consequence of that beginning.
It tells us that the Universe’s expansion, which is due to the Big Bang, will not continue forever. Instead, at a certain point in time, it will stop expanding and collapse into itself, pulling (folding) everything with it until it eventually turns into the biggest black hole ever. Well, we all know how everything is squeezed when in that hole. Hence the name Big Crunch.

11. QUARKS
THE QUR’AN SAYS:
Whatever you may be doing, and whatever portion you may be reciting and be engrossed in from the Quran, - and whatever deed you may be doing, We are Witness thereof, when you are doing it. And nothing is hidden from your Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in the heaven. Not what is less than that or what is greater than that but is in a Clear Record. [10: 61]

SCIENCE TELLS US:
Atoms are the basic building blocks of matter that make up everyday objects. A desk, the air, even we humans are made up of atoms! Atoms are made up of three basic particles:
1. Protons
2. Neutrons
3. Electrons
Scientists discovered the neutron in 1932. They thought that there was nothing smaller in the atom’s nucleus. But were they right?
In 1968, scientists discovered new particles inside the neutron. They called these particles Quarks. Then research was carried out in highly sophisticated Labs.

At HERA very precise measurements of the size of quarks have been carried out. No measurable size could be found, and therefore, as far as we know at the moment, quarks are elementary. Their size, if they have one, must be smaller than 10-16cm, i.e. 1/1000 of the size of the proton. This is the smallest distance, which has been directly measured in physics.

ALLAH knows best!

These are only a few examples from the Qur’an to mention, which unfold the Truth and ALLAH knows with time what more will become manifest from its Nobel Verses with more progression in scientific research. If not now then when will the time come to reflect upon the miracles of the Qur'an and find the Greatest Truth?

Smile its Sunnah

Smile its Sunnah
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

ALLAH has promised He will give reward to those who do good deeds and showing a smile is a good deed.

The Prophet of ALLAH [PBUH] was reported to be smiling the most. He would always show a smile to the people.

• The Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] said: "Do not abuse anyone, do not look down upon any good work, and when you speak to your brother, show him a cheerful face."
[Sunan of Abu-Dawood, Hadith 1889]

• The Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] said: "Charity is prescribed for each descendant of Adam every day the sun rises." He was then asked: "From what do we give charity every day?" The Prophet answered: "The doors of goodness are many; enjoining good, forbidding evil, removing harm from the road, listening to the deaf, leading the blind, guiding one to the object of his need, hurrying with the strength of one's legs to one in sorrow who is asking for help, and supporting the feeble with the strength of one's arms, all of these are charity prescribed for you." He also said: "Your smile for your brother is charity."
[Fiqh-us-Sunnah, Volume 3, Number 98]

• Abdullaah ibn Haarith [PBUH] said: "I never came across a person who smiled as much as Prophet Muhammad [PBUH]. Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] regarded smiling to a brother as an act of charity."
[Tirmidhi]

• Jarir bin Abdullah [R.A] said: The Messenger of Allah [PBUH] never refused me permission to see him since I embraced Islam and never looked at me except with a smile (on his face).

DO THE MOUNTAINS BALANCE THE EARTH ?

Al-Anbiya 31
DO THE MOUNTAINS BALANCE THE EARTH ?

And We have set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with them, and We have made therein broad highways (between mountains) for them to pass through: that they may receive Guidance. [21: 31]

In chapter Nah v.15, ALLAH says:
“And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves.”

These verses includes an indication to the formation of mountains by casting from the bottom to the top as these mountains are protruded to help in stabilizing the earth so as not to be shaken or disturbed. The mountains are 1 -2 times deep in the ground like a root, than what we see above the ground. This helps to stabilize the earth and protects it from shaking and trembling while moving fast in its orbit.

An example may help to understand, while driving a car one need to maintain the balance of the wheels, because if that is not done then the steering wheel starts to wobble and vibrate at high speed. When the wheels go out of balance, then extra weight is fixed on the required point of the wheel to maintain the equilibrium for the stability of the car moving at a high speed. Maybe, this rule of also applies to the fixing of mountains on earth to make it steady while in motion.

An image taken by NASA, shows the mountain chains and they say that without these chains the earth wouldn't have been balanced.
It is quite amazing that we find such valuable information revealed very accurately in the Noble Quran, and it revealed 14 centuries ago about the importance of mountains in fixing the earth and about their formation by casting and it was shown that this is scientifically true and that there is no contradiction between Quran and modern science.

And this indicates that the Quran is geologically miraculous because at the time of descending down of Quran, no one was aware of these scientific facts that weren't discovered except in the 20th century.

LISTEN TO RASOOL ALLAH (PBUH)

The Prophet Muhammad said: “None of you shall (really) believe until I become dearer to
them than their own father, and son (children) and all humankind” (Bukhari & Muslim).
The love of Muhammad is an obligation for all Muslims. It may sound oxymoronic, as obligatory love may not be considered as true love! However, this obligation is a moral obligation arising out of a connection between certain intrinsic goods and evils and the way in which our beliefs are formed and held. This obligation is embraced and is not forced upon the Muslims. And this
obligation is slightly different from other forms of religious duties. Many a Muslim is out there who is negligent in carrying out their Islamic actions and rituals; but you will find a deep seated
love of Muhammad in their hearts. This love is unique; this is not just obligation, it is more than that. However, Muhammad never allowed Muslims to overstep the limit when showing their love of him.
So, good Muslims never exaggerate while showing their love of Muhammad, as they are aware of the demarcation lines. They never confuse between the worshipping of Allah with their love of Muhammad. However, this love is still very special.
