The Flower of the East is a 1.7 billion euro (two billion U.S. dollar) German-engineered project on Kish Island, Iran. Construction is expected to be completed in 2009. The project mostly consists of residential dwellings, sports centres, and golf courses. The centrepiece of the project is a luxury "7 star" hotel in the shape of a flower. The tower is a combination of Persian and modern high-tech architecture.
Lets hope they finish this quickly because these type of facilities will bring more tourist to Iran and therefore, Iran will be less dependent on oil revenue.
