I'm back?

, , , ...

To begin with I was never gone, just didn't felt like posting anything. I'm still here, reading the forums, people's blogs, taking pictures...

Lately I've been shooting a LOT, I started taking my camera(Film camera, Zenit E with Helios 44-2 lens) with me pretty much everywhere(except for that one place :D), I go out and take pictures almost every day, and it really is loads of fun, going to photo meets, meeting people who think alike and enjoy similar things. Here's a photoalbum from a local photography forum meet: Link to photo album

Recently I started shooting with film instead of digital camera, generally I'm supposed to belong to the "digital generation", despite that I was still really curious how does the analog way of taking pictures work, so I found an old Zenit E laying around in my dads closet, and took it out for a spin. Got a bunch of film, and started shooting, shot 2 rolls of film shot already. I can't wait to get the film processed and scanned, I hope there'll be some good stuff there

BTW: A link to my photos

Coxy today asked me who are the people in my photos, the answer is pretty simple: its the people around me, friends, family, classmates, and fellow photo-hogs

I got a bit distracted after writing this, so this will be the end for this post, too lazy to continue P:

P.S Recommended song: Cindy Lauper - Girls just wanna have fun

Not as good as Dudleys, but I quite like it myself, so feel free to comment. Also, you can click on the image to get a bigger version.

Camera ISO testcase

, , , ...

Yes!, its possible to use ISO 50 on your Olympus E-500 by using this hack: http://photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00JUYk
I've enabled ISO 50 on my Olympus E500.
And here are the results, taken with tripod in M mode with same settings, EXIF is there, so you can check other info yourselves.
*BIG images, beware those of you who have slow connections*

ISO 100: http://ramunas.ezoshosting.com/iso100.JPG

Decide does it work any better yourselves. Feel free to leave a comment here.

Parkour

, , , ...

Today i went to do some parkour photography, well i only managed to get one good shot. Well quality is awful but i love its composure. Take a look at it:

You can check other photos i made today: in this photo album

Settings i used:
ISO: 80
Exposure: 1/250
Flash: used just in some photos
Camera: Olympus c5000

And talking about settings, i was trying to balance between speed and quality, but speed won. So there`s a bit of grain on the photos, next time i`ll try to adjust the settings.

I haven't edited these photos on PC.

Any suggestions how to capture fast movement?
