As Opera Community finally got 500 000 members , I'm going to tell my story, how I ended up in here.
It all started when I saw a post on Slashdot about Opera's 10th birthday party . I then joined the Opera's IRC server to check out what was going on there.
I liked in there, so soon I found out that Opera has a great community website. I registered there just to say my opinion about Opera Mini in the forums. Made a few posts there, and met some great people.
Few days later I saw that OC offers blogs, at the time I didn't even knew what a blog was. So after reading for a bit I decided to try it out, and then I started my own blog. OC offered some great features:

• MMS blogging
  
• Opera Mini blogging
  
• A lot of disk space to host my photos
  
• Forums
  
• Groups
  

Now after after more than a year spent here in OC my blog got ~150000 visits , I got a lot of friends from all over the world and saw a bunch of great on-line events. What more can I wish for?

To sum it all up: There's a lot of things I like about the OC, but the best thing for sure is the members of Opera Community
