Chocolate (non) Valentino Cake

The February 2009 challenge is hosted by Wendy of WMPE's blog and Dharm of Dad ~ Baker & Chef. We have chosen a Chocolate Valentino cake by Chef Wan; a Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from Dharm and a Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from Wendy as the challenge.
We were asked to bake a flour-less chocolate cake, which I'll post the recipe I followed here, but you could look for them at Wendy's (blog, not the Fast Food chain) or Dharm's.
This should be something related to Valentine's day, but I completely forgot (Actually, we don't have Valentine's day here in Brazil...), and we should pair it with some kind of home-made Ice Cream. I paired mine with Ginger Ice Cream as well as with some left-over Milk-Molasses Ice Cream.
The cake was gorgeous, light and moist. And You must think of that, when you bake it: It has no sweetners, so, all its flavor comes from the chocolate you use. So, be careful when you pick up your chocolate for this! It will taste exactely as your chocolate bar!

But in June, we celebrate it as St. Anthony's eve, not as St. Valentine. But still, you're correct, considering the general idea. We do have a day to comemorate those who are in love, which is in June, 12th.
