General Stuff
So many new stuff, I can barely deal with everything! Now, Internet, telephone and TV are established at home. My new kitchen is almost fully operational (I just lack a blender, microwave oven and some small stuff). The new address is already with most of the important people around me, and I can already host a nice dinner and dessert.
But the newest of all new things is another home... to Sugar Nut blog! But no, I'm not about to abandon this one. The new one will be written in Portuguese. It may have a couple of different posts (mostly related to things from Brazil and my surroundings, so, no need to worry), but I'll try to keep most of the recipes the same, in both blogs!
But before I do keep on with this new project, I must thank everyone who was part of my Blog-life. Thank you, all my friends, who came by, and left a comment. Thank you, all google searchers, who found out something interesting among all the babbling I wrote. Thank you, all adventurers who, not only found my blog in the Internet, but also tried one of the recipes posted here (and sorry, in case it didn't turn out as you wanted to...), and thank you, all food bloggers, who inspired (and still inspire) me, to create this website.
I am really happy to start the new blog, and make it visible to all my friends. Thank you, all. And let the new era begin!

Houseware, General Stuff, Oven Mitts
Most of you may already know, but I have moved recently. So, until next Wednesday, I'll be without Internet at home (which doesn't mean I won't post). Things are a little bit in a rush at home, but I am managing to keep on cooking and doing stuff. But today, it won't be about a recipe. The good thing about moving is that we get to buy lots of new stuff. And not only new appliances, such as a good fridge with lots of room in the freezer, or an oven that's just what I've always dreamed of. But those small little things that we love, that give our new house the status of "new home".
And this beautiful Oven Mitt is one of these things.
I bought them last weekend, in a bazaar, from a friend I met in Twitter. @anasinhana is a former economist who decided to become an artisan, making so many cute things. Her art ranges from oven mitts, such as the one I bought, to lovely penguins, from various kinds of fabrics! Aren't these just the perfect thing to make it get to our home?

First year, General Stuff, Blogiversary
Extactely 370 days ago, I wrote my first posting. A weird one, sort of presenting myself, without much idea of what to cook or what to write about. And now, here I am, one year later, with lots more visitors, though not so many more popularity! Hahahah! Which is quite good, considering the recent bad experiences a famous food blogger in Brazil is going through... But anyways, here I am, again, after one year of postings and lots of cooking and baking. Ice creams, jams, cakes, desserts, fruits, general stuff, and lots of fails! And even a LASAGNA!!! That was amazing! That’s what made part of this last year, and I am really proud of it!
THANK YOU! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAVE COME BY, VISITED MY BLOG, TRIED A RECIPE, OR LEFT A COMMENT! I AM REALLY GRATEFUL FOR ALL THAT!
Thanks to everyone who helped me accomplish this whole year, which so quickly , and so deliciously, went by. And the best way I found for that was to throw a big Blogiversary, with lots of food, especially sweets!

Slides, General Stuff, Flickr, Course
As I said a couple of weeks ago, I had some news to tell ya. I have made my first cooking course in my life! Yay!
It was a wonderful course with the basic skills and recipes for Pastry.
It was a three classes course, quite quick, offered by Senac (a public institute sustained by the Services and Commerce segments).
Our Teacher was Silvia de Loreto. Besides being a really helpful and intelligent teacher, she's also got a cartering company for events and special dinners.
During the course, we made dozens of recipes, and I took lots of pictures. Cakes, profiteroles, puff pastry, candies, marshmellows, ganashes, flans, cookies, pies... Oh, so many things that I decided to take one next step to Sugar Nut: I have created a Flickr Account!
And to start it, I've put a slide show, with all the pictures from the course!

General Stuff, Foodie Gifts, Birthday
This was one very boring sunday... I mean, I didn't have much to do, and I think I wasn't really fond of looking for action... I don't know if it's some kind of lack of inspiration, or only a kind of coldness induced laziness... But the fact is, I had a completely bland day. It could als be something related to my 23rd birthday, which will is now only 2 days away, but I'm not really interested in discovering that.
And about my birthday, about one hour ago, a friend of mine had asked me what to give me...
I haven't really thought of that for quite some time (maybe months...), so that finally made me do something different, today. So, I started looking in the internet for some gift ideas for a Foodie like me.
