Ainda em versão beta, o Innotek VirtualBox e software baseado em código aberto é a primeira solução profissional de virtualização gratuita para os sistemas Linux, OpenBSD, Mac OSX e Windows.
Pelos testes que que algum sites fizeram, mesmo usando um computador normal, ele se têm mostrado bastante estável e em algumas ocasiões, mais rápido e eficiente que seu concorrente famoso e pago (VMware).
Muito facil de se instalar e usar, quem usa o VMware, não tera dificuldades para se acostumar a sua interface gráfica, uma boa pedida para os que ainda usam o Windows e não o abandonaram em definitivo por causa de muitoo software e mesmo hardwares que funcionam ou têm versões apenas para o sistema operacional das janelinhas.

The VirtualBox User Manual is included in the VirtualBox release below. If, however, you would like to take a look at it without having to install the whole thing, you can download it in PDF format here:

You will need to install some additional libraries on your Linux system in order to run VirtualBox - in particular, you will need libxalan-c, libxerces-c and version 5 of libstdc++. How to install these will depend on the Linux distribution you are using.

O Innotek VirtualBox funciona como o VMware, ele pega uma partição de seu HD ( 3, 4 ,5 ,8GB ou outro que vc especifique ) e geram um HD Vurtual onde depois e so usar um CD/DVD ou mesmo ISO de algum sisterma operacional e o instala, como se estivesse instalando o SO no HD, so que esta instalando no HD Virtual.
Quando for concluida a instalação e so rodar o programa Innotek VirtualBox, e aparecera uma janela com o sistema que vc instalou naquele HD Virtual, roda um dentro do outro.

Ia instalar o Vista, ja que nem num disco a parte ele funciona, alias funciona mas como nao ha drives par ao meu modem, pc sem net, nao me faz muito sentido!

Ola a todos,
Alguem, ja utilizou o VirtualBox, em ambiente de producao, algum servidor real mesmo que nao seja de teste.
Active Directory ou algo assim?
Funciona bem mesmo?
