Here's a study in several gulls. Identifications are tenuous at best, cause these guys are sometimes hard to tell apart!

I think that they are difficult to identify makes them even more interesting. And, I think they are gorgeous birds.

They're very strong personalities, too. I always struggle with their IDs though, even when I've got a guide handy
