I'm not going to say if these are Lesser Scaup of Greater Scaup. Two species of duck that I find impossible to differentiate between! Suffice it to say that they are Scaup.

It snowed last night! We got about 3 inches. Probably won't last long but it's a pain in the back anyway!

Lesser OR greater, it's a great shot. The water is so blue, it really provides a nice background for the ducks.

***I agree with you on this one,Robin. A duck is a duck,is a duck,I can't tell them apart either! Never the less,I always enjoy your photography. Our snow from last night is all but gone. The winds from the west prevailed and the temperature went up 10 degrees or so.
The snow has given way to the rain and warm! Lets hope it stays that way.
