Keeping a Vigil

, ,

A Northern Harrier sit on an old Birch trunk.

Early this morning it was sunny, but we're back to gloom again. More rain on the way.
But what the hey, it's Friday.
Have a good one!

Ah, nice to see one settled. I normally just see their white rumps as they zoom back and forth over fields!

Excellent capture! And a wonderful setting with the birch trees and him looking directly at you.

Adele, that's usually what I see too! They certainly are distinctive when they fly with their white saddle!

Hahahah, ya, same here! But, not the cold!! It makes it so much nicer to not take 5-10 minutes to get dressed just to go outside! Yeah, spring is almost here!

Cynthia, and I'm looking forward to it!

Now I have the chance to read about this bird. Yes, I am seeing this bird flying many times and in tops of trees or posts. I did not know it was this bird! Thanks, Robin!! Always I am learning new things here. Cool new things!! Have a great Sunday! coffee
