Robin’s Robins

Life through my lens

Song Sparrow

, , ,

A Song Sparrow, perched on a blackberry branch. Something I always thought was a rather precarious situation. But these little birds don't seem to mind at all. I suppose the blackberries provide a certain mount of protection!

You're right, and I've never seen a bird get stabbed on the thorns. Even so - could be uncomfortable!

Adele, knowing blackberries and how vicious they are, one would think that they must on occasion get poked!

Dianne, no not blackberries, but I suppose they'd get a nasty poke!

Good thing it isn't a Thornbird! Which, btw, is one of my all time favorite books and movie.
