Lois, they were quite a distance away from the water. I've seen coots at that spot before, but usually only singles. It was neat to see them all together like that!

Adele, I thought the very same thing. Three is usually the limit! I guess that's why I was so attracted to them!

Neat picture. Three different species in one shot. Took me a minute for my eyes to pick up the little sparrows, they went immediately to the coots.

Linda, there was a bunch of Red Winged Blackbirds on the feeder just above them all!
