About me

I'm 35yrs young, live 5mins walk from the sea. had a great summer here on the whole and have had plenty of opportunity to get out and enjoy it, best yet it's still with us as I look out the window now.. beach bekons later I think.

My interests include photography and where I live is great for that, will add some of my best efforts to this page.
Formula1 which is about to start soon (come on Lewis!!) internet radio namely somaFM.com which plays my kind of music, namely electro, house and ambient.
linux operating system. and last but by absolutely no means least my Daughter.. she keeps me going through good times and bad, best gift I ever had :)

Been using computers since I was about 6, first machine was a Commodore 16, followed by a Spectrum 128k and then an Amiga. first PC was a really powerful p75 with 16mb of ram.. wow (joke).

My work

Work.. well fulltime Dad, she is 3 and quite a handfull at times. she's about to start School fulltime soon so I'm going to look into fitting in a partime job as well.

Previous to becoming a Father I worked mainly in the offlicence trade, a great job if you want to stay fit, carrying 6crates of beer at a time (and ignoring elf n' safety) soon sheds any fat you might have. wouldn't mind going back into that. I'm fully qualified as I've taken and passed the Licensing exam with a pass of 99%, this means I could either open my own shop, or simply have my name above the door of someone elses.
not a bad job at all as long as you keep vigilant and remember the 21 rule "if you don't look 21, expect to be asked for ID".. serve someone under 18 in the UK and you'll get slapped with an £80 fine, not what you want really!

Why I choose the Opera browser

I've been using Opera since around 2001 and find it the best browser there is. baffles me why people still use Internet Explorer. Opera quick, customisable and looks great, what more can you ask for... oh built in email and mouse gestures. simply the best!
