My goodness, but Mozambique is beautiful in its simplicity. Life is so peaceful and relaxed. I have in my mind to emigrate to Maputo permanently. Such beautiful people. We lived at Fatima's in Maputo and at Fatima's Nest in Tofo, Inhambane. What a crazy New Years eve party we had in the pouring rain. Met guys from Botswana, England, Germany, Angola, South Africa and the USA.
Swaziland is even more impressive. Clean and shackless. We camped at a dream of a Backpackers called Sunset in Mbabane. What a gud host we had. Definitely going back again.
End of year we off to Malawi and Botswana.
Watch out. Here we come.

December Vacation

Our hiking club will be very busy this holiday. From 16 December to 23 December 2008 we will be hiking through the Drakensberg mountains in South Africa. These mountains are infamous for its bad weather, snakes and deaths of lost hikers. But we are going to enjoy it.
From 28 December 2008 to 12 January 2009 we will be exploring the wonders and beauties of our neighbouring country, Mozambique. What awaits us there we don't know. We do know that malaria is rife. But just being in another country and celebrating New Years in a different manner is exciting in itself.
I can't wait for it all to start.

Had a wonderful evening with my very dear and close pals, Andre, Anthea, Dwight, Angela and Gail. Its vital 2 have like-minded people around u. Guys who luv u and care about u. Wish I cud package their feelings and sell it. Life is gud!!

Its my birthday on 5 November, also called Guy Fawkes day and I expect my friends 2 wish me luck 4 the next year. Especially the ones I luv outa this world.
