Runes Parking lot

My Serious and , mostly unserious sides !

Going mobile !

I got feed up with my old Internet company, you know, 10 years ago (yes-10!) it was the best internet-connection you could ever get at that time, over 1mb down/over 250 up, then.
So i have been happy with it for many years, but not now.
It's because they'll linkt the internet con two my TV abb, so i can't change my TV provider, and that same company has gotten more and more expensive all the time, and that really :bomb: me off in a big way.Recently, i lost 2 very good chanals that i liked, PLUS 8$ extra per month!
So, it was not the Internet bill, but the TV bill that made "the drop", and my only option was 2 change "the hole inchilade" :insane:
After a LOT of "mind :insane: ", i went for a total mobile solution, after reading every rewiev i could find, - the company "3G" here in Denmark, and here 's the speed on the internet that i got:
(a mobile USB-modem)

And , on top of that, i altso changed my TV-provider, comes up on monday with a parapol and HD tv channals  I exided 2 se wath thats gonna look like, all digital and all, :sherlock:

UPDATE Thuesday 6/5-08: After a little changing around the position, the speed now lies steady around
3-3,5 mb Down/3-325 up
However, the position is crusial, got 2 point directly at the nearest antenna, point it wrong = half the speed !

Little 2 Sweden, just for fun ;-) (or coffea ;-)Framing it and finish

Great! Now we will get more notes from you? You do have a better connection now. No?

RuneSB 2. May 2008, 17:35

Ahh, ehh, Just "another" connection :D
It's still very new, and it's flukxin in speed, testing it over the weekend :sherlock:

Nicolas Borgsmidt 2. May 2008, 18:23

Hope the up and down speed will nivilate a bit. But as we talked about. The "weekend traffic" on the net is very unsteady  Good luck pal

RuneSB 2. May 2008, 19:43

Thanks pal
I will wacht it closely over this weekend :sherlock:

Interesting - I am thinking of going mobile myself.

Will you let us know how things are?

I assume you've left Stofanet in favour of "3". Right?

RuneSB 4. May 2008, 13:50

Yes, but mostly because of the price of stofanet TV, wich has gotten more and more expensive, ANd the fact that i cannot have stofenet Net-connection without stofanet TV!
So, tomorrow i'm having a Parabol from Canal Digital put up, so its all goodbye stofanet

@ricewood: I have been on a mobile internet connection for the last half year with 3.dk on a 7.2Mbit modem (they updated it from 3Mbit for free) and it's more stabile than my DSL connection 20Mbit - and I can play WoW on it, so go for it. 3.dk has the best coverage and best connection.

David Blangstrup 20. July 2008, 11:32

@rune: btw what kind of mobile do you have? I am thinking of buying a SonyEricsson C902 from 3.dk - they have an offer right now, move your mobile to them and get the internet mobile connection down from 299 kroner to 199 kroner per month! :D Jonathan is buying one, too:

Instead of the iPhone - which hasn't got a camera yet and the bad 3G coverage from Telia - I have had Telmore for years, and their 3G never came to Allerød. :headbang:

Allan 20. July 2008, 11:33

I am now a mobile broadband @ 3, David. And you're right - it's a bliss.

Thank you.

David Blangstrup 20. July 2008, 11:34

You're welcome. It's so nice to be able to go on the internet from everywhere.

RuneSB 21. July 2008, 06:52

@ David: I have a SE K810i with 3,2mb camera on BiBoB
