【Day63】The 7th Day
Wednesday, September 20, 2006 3:59:47 PM
God took a rest on the 7th day when he created the world (as is remembered from my Bible class though i am not religous), and so shall i tak a break from my full secudle of revision or referred to by blog friends as "self-taught prepartion for the exam".
Today is the 7th day since i officially moved into this rental house and started my second pharase of new Shanghai Life,
I was like a "new-born" student learning to observe what is going on on this campus, get myself familiar with routine life again in college and self-study.
However, with a new slant into my life, I am tasting this period of life again.
There are 7 colors in the rainbow and 7 sins of man as was filmed with Brat Pit as the star.
And on this 7th day of my second phare, i could not help refelction upon my past 7 days:
I have kept a positive attitute and easy-going plus middle-way perspective: as i understand this course in my life is a hard bone to crack and is time+ patience requiring;
I have once again adapt myself to college life, a new one, the one different from my previous which was naive and somewhat lack of consideration, a refreshing life with ease and enjoyment;
I have opened a door for myself which leads me to books of traditional as well as modern chinese language, soaked into books yet reap much knowlege which have solved my long-time wonderings, such as the mechanusn of different chinese-typing systems on computer, the length of chinese words compared with english ones, and in particular ancient chinese words which are neat, condensed in meaning while vividly-expressed....
In addtion, my past 7 days are way from shanghai accent which has bothered me once i was in the company where my boss and other senior workers only talk in dialact.
It is like such accent is faded here, and i do not have to worry at all about that.
Meanwhile, i am gradually forgetting I am in Shanghai, beyond its "social" impact.
Anyhow, that is why I find peace and clam and relaxation on campus, and could not help doubt "what is most required n my life?"
Maybe i shall not be so eager as to enter and work in the highrises in Pu Dong Economic Zone, instead i am more fond of a life on campus:)
My big day for exam shall fall on Jan 20 and 21, adjusted 2 weeks ahead of the orignally annonced one by ministry of education;
Anyhow, it is the same with me,
as i am counting the days by reading books I like, familarizing practical knowlege condusive for my future development and leading a regular life good for health.
PS: I am so gald that i become the member of the week with such sweet comment from myopera.com as my regular update of this blog; i own so much thanks to concern and care from friends on this site, and i shall share with u my feelings in my new life here!
