【Day72】Roads in Dark and A Blister on Foot
Friday, September 29, 2006 2:38:20 AM
The second time i explore my way to the International Chinese Studies Institute is in the dark night.
Although the way is long as i remember the first time i went there
it was like i had been directed by signs all the way and only reached there when i tired out.
Yet this time, in the dark,
the road seems shorter to me,
or maybe it is because I have some preparation for the long road ahead of me
thus when i finally got there, the past way is joyful and short.
Since i do not live on campous for this three-month prep for the exam, i walk from home to classroom, which is about 30 min walk,
I walk fast as to save time and do exercise.
Yet some blisters gradually show up on my feet, maybe my shoes are not so soft thus the fraction make them hurting or maybe i am just walking too fast thus my skin can not burden such fraction,
anyway, the blisters are becoming aching problem for me.
Yet after some days, the blisters are becoming hard and they do not hurt,
they become used to my way, and i could walk on my usual pace.
They are indeed some good hints for my prpe all the way.
Since my revision days of mordern Chinese, ancient Chinese and Politics are streching my patiences as well as memory,
sometimes i feel i am in the dark of these pronunciation or theries,
sometimes i feel so suffering from memorizing them and even understanding them are hard.
Yet I know, the process is just like exploring in the dark and healing my blisters on foot.
so long as i persist and keep on doing it,
i shall see the just result,
So i shall just work on full of spirit and passion towards this long-history language.
