Right on this day
The day of Tomb-sweeping，I served myself a green glutious rice ball,
Sweet and chilly
As i know i am to check wether i have the chance for the second test of this Project.
If listed as a candidate, i am sweet at heart as it is a proof of my past efforts
If not, the future still needs sober consideration, wether be transferred to another major or what
Coming to this phrase of applying for postgraduation in China,
I gradually come to realize the importance of balancing the mind and the reality:
if i have the idea then i just practice it and during such period maybe some concepts shall be changed.
Take this Teaching Chinese as a Second Langage for example, i was asuming it to be English-related, yet found out that it is more of a Chinese Linguistic class without any interferences from English.Moreover, the acdemic studies of English Languge may not be applied to the teaching and study of Chinese.
Also I came to know the importance of timing. Grasping the chance if i am MENTALLY prepared.
Take the early morning of this Monday for instance, i was on my way to check the appointment time of the headmaster of this institution while it stuck me that he was right in the office room.
I was just in my humble jean coat and my fully prepared files was not with me.
I hesitated.
Should i came back to dorm, change into a proper jacket and take the files with me?
Or should i just step in and have a face to face talk?
Out of respect i should be more properly dressed and adequately equipped
Yet i suddenly realize that:
This chance shall never come, the 1st very encounter with the person who is not only in charge but also has the finaly say of this whole matter!
So i knocked at the door and let hime star at me for some seconds then started the conversation.
I asked him the doubts that had long been lingering in my heart ,and expressed my wish for the study here.
After all, i have showcased my sincereity and efforts to this institution.
It turned out that Pro. Chen, the headmaster, is really nice without any air of the person in power. He asked me to sit down and asked some basic situtaion of me.
What's moving about him was his claim that "It is really not easy to get the mark as you do."
Then he advised me to leave the file to his secretary and recommended the major of Translation in case that i shall be transferred.
It was a big courage for me till today, as i know there is still hope out there.
And the next week is the week of persistece, wisdom and confidence.
I shall plan well and forge ahead.
