LIFE TRACK

THE WAY I AM

Coming Back: MD LIfe Now!

Hey everyone,
Really really long time no see.
First let me extend my sincere thanks to those who concern about me and my blogging and also a heartfelt sorry to all of you that i did not have the access to let you know that I have been blocked for nearly one and a half years since I have met some internet problem in China.

But now everything is set.
The past time has witnessed many things happend to me: the successful admission to East China Normal University graduate program of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,my weekend trips to explore Shanghai and Yangzhou, the one year life at ECNU to get used to the cold and wet weather in Shanghai and got a Chance to work for a U.S. high school in Maryland for one year from now.
WOOOOOOOO
Really, when i think back so many things happend and here are some clues about what has happend.

Let me use a backwrad reflection:
Here is me last week in SF with a group of volunteer Chinese teachers.
We toured around the city before the tight and intensive training begins at Chinese American International School where I then experienced real classroom teaching with American students.

Here are the volunteer teachers from China, and we are sacttered in different States to serve a local private school for thier k-12 Chinese program.

We are all graduate students, yet just the four of us from ECNU have to suspend school for one year instead of counting this experience in our graduate program.
Anyeway, this is all about making decisions.
I still believe it is a good choice for me to experience and treat my second job seriously.

I am assigned to a school in Maryland, it is a boarding all girl school.
I shall seve not only the Chinese teacher but also sports coach and house parents.
I bet this will be a different experience in my life.

However i am a bit nervous as the previous Chinese teacher has done such a good job for getting high scores for the students.
I myself still has a long way to go.

Wish me luck.idea

hey Thanks for your appreciation to the opening ceremony. Actually, the direcotr, Mr. Zhang Yimou is from Shaanxi Province where I come from.
Yes, there are some existing restrictions regarding internet in China, but I am not sure if mine is shut down due to this reason or what. Because I tried some proxy once in a while and I could do that.
Anyhow, i can blog now.
