TENNIS SWEETHEART

With my rough know-how of this sport learnt five years ago, I did not hesitate at all to take this chance as to refresh myself after six months of non-exercise life.
My serve was indeed unprofessional, too high or too low, making it hard for my friend who has taken tennis class for two years to take.
It seemed that we were not at east to occupy the whole public field yet not fully utilize it, and thus moved to the corner of the ground to exercise with a high wall, “yielding” the field to an old couple.
On the first sight, I was amazed that a couple at this age would go together for a seemingly vehement sport, quite encourage to run back and forth on the field.
Yet as I observe how they play, I gradually found the secret:
first of all, they both were quite in it and good at it—standard serve, agile movements and durative rounds. More noticeably, they just play the peace round, letting each other hitting the ball.
At that point, I couldn’t help thinking that they are indeed a couple, and a harmonious one, the one that grow old together, sharing and enjoying their common interests.
Gradually I come to realize that love is melt into daily life. The fierce roses, heart-breaking affairs and easy promises are so far away from my real life.
“The most romantic thing in the world is getting old with you”. This is the kind of love I am longing for and shall seek.
