Philosophy life Some one say: it is no doubt that study philosophy is no use to me. And then I will say it is sure that you are wrong because life plays in philosophy, philosophy explain life. Philosophy, I think, it is the only thing study the relationship of human and human, human and nature, nature and nature. Maybe most of the student does not love philosophy but not me. I love philosophy. Perhaps you will ask: if you like philosophy, tell me the famous man in philosophy and their articles, I will say sorry I do not know. There is a saying” do as roman do”. Usually when we are travel to a country we will obey the local rule. We do it as a rule to make our trip funny and experience the life of the foreigner.
But as a migrant, would you leave all your culture and faith behind and try becoming a “real” native? It is a question.
When Muslim faces this question, they choose to keep their tradition. It is a question that we have long discussed without answer. As a local people we take it for grant not to cover our faces; but to Muslim it is their faith and tradition to cover their faces. To keep or not is a question up to them. We should not add so much steer to them.
Our society is a enlightened society. Every people has their right to lead his own style as long as he never go beyond the law. we can do everything we wish and we can comment on something you are interesting. But you could not have the right to deprive something you do not like from the others or force someone to live obey you. This is a point that I have to give out: we can design our life according our mind and comment on something as you wish; but you could never interrupt someone’s life.
Human are social animal. We should respect everyone who live in this community. The world funny and gawsy for not all of us are the same. We are human but we are different are the two factors to make up our brilliant lives. When the situation is that all the people obey you and they become the same. You will soon find that the world is boring and gutless. Thinking about this, will you still insists that we have to become the same.
College teachers good or bad How to say, as a student, what we should do is to respect our teachers now mater he or she good or bad—this thought is very strong in my braid from I still a child. As a child, parents also told me you should respect your teacher. So if some one asks me: your teacher is good, is he or she, it is not doubt that I will say yes. However, if you ask what kinds of teacher you need most. May be I can will know. As a college student, the teacher I need most : 1. He or she treat us as his or her friend or sons, the same as us respect them. As the people say: the day he or she became your teacher, he or she was your parent from that day. I think this not just say to the student but the teacher and the student. 2. The teachers have not right try to control us or change our mind. Even our parent can no longer to change mind because we are not the child again. We have all mind and behavior. As I can remember, one teacher a teacher told us: you should change all your behavior, you should try to learn the nobility behavior as the Japanese does. At that time, I felt really anger. I don’t mean I hate Janpan very much. But in my mind, I am a real Chinese, I need not to learn the Japanese behavior and I won’t learn even it is a nobility behavior. 3. I need a teacher really can chat with not only the study but also all the things. Of cause, it is not a easy as I know. All above just my own opinion, may be there are really exists a teacher like that, but unlucky I have not meet her or him before.
With the development of the economic, internet become more and more pop in our surrounding, like the on-line chatting, e-mail, on-line game and so on. It is no double that we have more choices not the true world but the internet. However, more care we should pay when we are choosing because many and many bad phenomenon comes out on line. For example, cheating is one of the serious problems on-line. So in personally, I think, the real-name system will help the net runs better than before. One serious problem in net is cheating, Cheating is not just happens on-line but all over the world. It is clear that we can do shopping on-line but we should more care than shopping in the true world. Comparing with the usual shopping, we cannot touch the goods in the internet. If the cheating happens in the net store, what will happen. It is no more need I say, everyone can image the serious result. In my view, the real name system is the good helper of the net to reduce the cheating. Another serious problem is spreading the harmful movie and article in the web page. Nobody will doubt that more and more young will get on the internet nowadays. So it will come out a problem because the young do not have the well skill of self-control and some people always spread the harmful information on the net so that many young will be harm. From the report, it is clear that the crime of the young now is increasing. And some of them were taken advantage for the harmful information form the internet. And some harmful movie not only do harm to the young psychological healthy, but also the physical health. In one hand, the young should pay more care on the net. In the other hand, real name system will help. So what I support is that extensive use of the real name system is playing an important place in the improving of the net. In a sum, the real name extensive using will advent the quality of the internet people though the real name system extensive using will effect our right of assembly and expression.
Travel Travel is my favorite activity. Remember: when I still a junior mid school student, I travel Beijing the capital of our country as we all know. As I can remember, I felt amazing and afraid at that time because it is the first I went so far not with my family or our classmate. However, after that time, I learn many things and after that time, I know I like travel and travel by myself. If some one asks me where you want to travel most, I will say Sweden. Why ? I don’t know. May be Sweden is one of the most beauty place in the world. Perhaps Sweden is one of the peace and clean place in the world as like the paradise. May be in the childhood, as I can remember, at that time, I wished to live in a place no pollution, no war. Hoho, And now I also don’t know why I would have that wish as a little child. However, it is not doubt that Sweden is the most beauty place as I heard. Now it is sure I know more about Sweden than childhood. Sports event In personally, I am not so interesting in sports, but every time I saw the student get all of them to take part in all school sports event, I felt good. Our college is a ocean university in china. It is funny that the sports meeting is held in every year in DEC. As I can remember, every year almost all the college will appreciate the week of our sports meeting. In this week, perhaps all the class will be canceled for the sports event. Neither the students nor the teachers would pay their attention of this. Most of them do well preparation of the sports meeting. Ever, the student like me not takes part in it also feel very excited. We not excited but do all best to prepare well to encourage the classmate who takes part in the meeting. And then some of my classmates who prepare the work of the sports meeting, of cause, are busy all the day and night because they can make no mistake in the work of the great event of our college. It is sure that all of them are the best members of our school student union. When the day arrived, thousands of people would be saw in the play ground. And the huge cheer would be heard from our school play ground. So it is not hard to image that scene. I like that moment in our university. Although I am not so like sports, but the excited moment of the sports event is the most thing I appreciate.
How to say? I like music, however if you ask what you favor CD, I won’t how to answer you. But in my mind, there is a CD very special to me is the music in the movie ‘The legend of 1900’. It is a classical music and also very special. First, as a movie’s music, it is good for the movie. It makes the movie more attract and improve the development of the movie. The pianist plays the crazy music in the movie what includes the feeling of the pianist and show the pianist by that music. Some one says music is the best way of communication between players and listeners. And this CD expresses the people will of happiest and they want changes, need some new things to balance their lives. So we not only can read the players from the music and also we can conclude the mind of people and the background in that age in this way.
Second, as to me, the music is special to me because every time I hear the music I learn new thing. When I had some trouble or in deeply thought, I would listen to he CD of the legend of 1900 and the way of deal with the trouble would turn out. And in a word, it helps me in some way. It means the CD 1900 will let me learn some new. So I think the CD of the legend of 1900 is very special to me. However, I can’t totally understand the classical music but when I listen to that, I can be clam and consider things more clearly. So I love that CD.
Third, supposing that you are very up to sth or sb, the CD of the legend of 1900 would help you and make you happy. Enjoying music is a nice very way to rest you. For example, after a hard work or in a bad moon or in trouble, stop to enjoy some classical music will be help. Of cause, I advise you to enjoy the CD of legend of 1900.
In the end, what I will say is try enjoying sth to make you relax.
After finished these two news paper, what I know is that something differences between then. How to say, I just know a little about. So it is not easy to compare with them. Here I just show some what I know to you, maybe it is not right but just my feeling about them after read. First of all, everything is the same. From their names, we can learn that China Daily is published in China but South China Morning Post is published in South China, accurately, in HongKong. Through all the Contents of these two papers, it is not hard to know that: 1. China Daily is more formal than the South China Morning Post. 2. The South China Morning Post is more causal than the China Daily. 3. The advertisement in South China Morning Post is more pop than China Daily. What make them different? I think it is clear that their published in different place so that what they want to show it is not the same, though, they are also in China. As to South China Morning Post, HongKong people are more, how to say, chances to connect with abroad so that their Paper are more funny than The China Daily, of cause, just in my view. Secondly, from the aspect of the language of them, it is not hard to find that South China Morning Post is causal than China Daily in language. For example, the same even of depiction is easily to understand in South China Morning Post than China Daily. In my opinion, the most important effect in the Paper language is that it can use the Pop ways to make nearly all the reader understood what it wants to show in the news paper. So I think the South China Morning Post does better than China Daily in this way. Of cause, as a major of English, what we ought to do not escape the hard words we don’t know in English but get all of us to learn more about English and new words, so in this aspect, it is not doubt that we can learn more new words in China Daily. Thirdly, as a Chinese formal paper, it is not hard to know that China Daily will put the big events happen in china in the first part of the paper so as to let us know more about our country. And in the other hand, as a causal paper like South China Morning Post, it will pay more attention about the thing what we care not just the big events of our country so that it is easy to accept by us. So there are different strongpoints in these two papers. So we should choose what we like. It is come to the end. From above all, we know that compare these two papers, many things have been learnt and it is a funny thing to me to compare something and find their differences.
China is very famous for its food in the world. There are many kinds of food in China. They're Cantonese food, Sichuan food, Shanghai food, Hunan food and so on. Generally speaking, Cantonese food is a bit light, Sichuan food is very hot, Shanghai food is rather oily, and Hunan dishes are very spicy, having a strong and hot taste. Mapo Beancurd, steamed fish sweet and sour pork ribs, spring roll and many Chinese dishes are very delicious. Now, what I will show you is the best food that I have been tasted outside our school gate. The first pop food I love is( 扬州炒饭 )Yangzhou fried rice. You can find that food in any restaurant outside the school gate. It is one of the famous fried rice in china and if you want to wonder how is the fried rice in china, you ought to try the Yangzhou fried rice first in my view. And the other food I think it is good outside the school gate is Cold and Dressed with Sause(凉伴Liang Ban). From the name we can know that is one of the foods fit for the foreigner taste, how to say, the food is tasted very well and it is not so hard to find outside the school gate and the price is cheap and you can enjoy it without wait a min. Maybe they are the reasons why it is so famous outside our school gate. And the last food I appreciate outside the school gate is: Lotus Leaf Rice(荷叶饭HeYeFan). Now how to say, why I think is the Lotus Leaf Rice tasted well outside the gate is that the lotus leaf can keep the best taste of the rice and the meat , it is mean that you can eat the original taste rice and meat with any waste. Once I can remember it is the first time I tasted the Lotus Leaf Rice outside the school. I think it is the best food outside the gate, maybe I am very hungry at that time. But maybe it is really good. Who know? Perhaps the best chose is you can go there by yourself. Er, at that time, I tasted the Lotus leaf Rice with a Cola. Maybe it is one of the reasons why the Lotus Leaf Rice is good in my view. So it is the end, if you wonder to eat the best food outside the school gate, you ought to go out by yourself and tasted all the food and you will know the best.
So it is sure that Citizen Kane is a great movie in that time and may be now is also a good. From the resources you get us, it is learn that this movie have many remarkable scenes\ performances and the best actors and directors in that time. However, as modern student, I like the colorful film better. Perhaps I don’t like the movie like that because of its colorful. It is true that Citizen Kane is one of the best movies in that time but not now in my view. In one hand, This is the manly reason, I can’t appreciate this movie. Secondly, if I don’t have the resources you get me, I won’t understand all this movie want to show me. So misunderstand is the problem so that I can’t understand this movie well. Thirdly, we were not enjoy all the movie at one time so as to something important we get lost. In the other hand, Citizen Kane is considered as the most famous and highly-rated film in the world that time. I think the reasons are those: 1.the background: WARII, as we all know, after war, everyone wants to have a peace and good life, but this film not tell people that thing it shows something difference. Citizen Kane is as a remind that the rich whoever want to control the people by power or money is will be lose at the end. And the other thing make this movie famous is that a new way in photography, editing ,and sound. So because of those reasons Citizen Kane is probably the world’s famous film. I am shame that I can’t understand the great movie Citizen Kane all, as a English major, I will try to appreciate it next time.
