The 23rd Ship for World Youth Program was held from Jan. 11 – March 2, 2011.

The itinerary of the 23rd Ship for World Youth program of FY2010 is as follows:
- Arrival of the participants from overseas: January 11, 2011
- Program for overseas participants in Japan: January 12-20
- Departure from Japan (Yokohama) : January 21
- Refuel, food and water supply in Solomon Islands (Honiara) : January 29 – 30
- Port of call activities in Fiji (Suva) : February 3-5
- Port of call activities in Australia (Brisbane) : February 9-12
- Refuel, food and water supply in Vanuatu (Port Vila) : Feb. 17 – 18
- Visit Naha (Japan): Februrary 27
- Return back to Japan (Tokyo): March 2

Where is Kenya? Kenya is situated in east Africa, and is shared border with Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda and Sudan. The capital city of Kenya is Nairobi. In 2006, the Nippon Maru made a stop at Mombassa from February 7-9. Let's check out some photos from Kenya Small boat of Kenyan officer got closer to the Nippon Maru ADM, advisor and PYs took photo together in front of Nippon Maru ship as we approached Mombassa Nippon Maru crew stood in front of the ship and the Japanese flag flew high More photos coming soon. - Departure from Yokohama Port (Japan): January 23
- Refuel, food and water supply in Vanuatu: February 2
- Port of call activities in Tonga (Nuku'alofa): February 5-7
- Port of call activities in New Zealand (Auckland): February 11-14
- Refuel, food and water supply in Vanuatu: Feb. 19 - 20
- Return back to Tokyo (Japan) March 5.
