Oil

I really don't see the problem.
They say we are too dependent on foreign oil.
Sooooooo, why don't we just make some of that foreign oil...... American oil?

Let's see, where is there alot of foreign oil?
I know. Isn't there a whole bunch of oil in Iraq?
Yup, there sure is.

We're already there.
Right! We'll just take that oil!

It's only fair.
We can say it's payment for all the money we spent liberating Iraq
from that nasty what's-his-name.
I bet we've spent MILLIONS by now.
Time we got our money back.

Next problem?

Yes, I know. I was just playing a bit of the “dumb blond” routine.

Actually, US taxpayers have spent about $600 billion so far and there is congressional approval for another $200 billion during 2008.
There goes my savings! S.

I'm in small town Southern Alabama.
Today fuel prices jumped 85 cents a gallon.
Ike's coming to Galveston and Houston and they are afraid distribution will stop.
So, the fuel in the stations tanks that were purchased last week have raised in value instantly?
If you questioned this, the answer, (said with your best Texas drawl), would be........"Ya just done understand the oil bizness."

As general Jack Ripper said in 'Dr. Strangelove', "Nuke 'em. Nuke 'em all!" bigsmile
