Blah!!!

I can only hope my drop in this ocean of people's experiences is one that will have meaning. positive or negative, its not my decision to make, all i can do is be ME. take it, leave it, whatever... the ripples will be there, for a moment @ least...

... it just is...

.. in the absence of that which he desires most, each day that passes seems to last an eternity. That word desire makes it seem superficial, its a need, a yearning to fill a void that is yet to be defined, it just is... when will the new day dawn...

need to get myself one of these

huh?

Had one of those evenings where no matter what I tried to do, ended up thinking about something meaningless. kind of a buzz-kill when by chance one hears something, I don't even remeber what it was, but it got me thinking, and the night kind of wasted away, me lost in some frivolous thoughts...

I know it happened, just dont remember the details......

hmmm....

Im told that no man is an island, yet everyday this island looks out at the world and notices a plethora of others, living, breathing, isolated...

Paranoia, or reality?

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, bt theres a lot we're nt told about whats going on out there. being out of the loop sucks. r we all just puppets, with some unknown entity pulling the strings of our lives? Any1 seen the Truman Show? r we all Trumans?..

Economics

I'm tired of hearing people talk about the "economic crisis". Suddenly it's a crisis because the elites have to take a 5% pay cut or whatever... Theres no crisis. Thats right, I said theres no crisis. At the rate of inflation, in South Africa at least, the corporate world would have made enogh profit to cushion themselves through any rough patches. production costs drop, yet product prices increase. I'm not sorry that companies are forced to close down, it should have happened ages ago. letting them continue to operate on state funds is a slap in the face of consumers, tax payers, and basically any sane person out there. Why reward incompitence? It is bad that people lost their jobs. I say give those people massive bonuses for leaving organizations. That guy from SABC was given 12mill plus legal costs plus a few extra mill for the heck of it, to leave and not sue the company. WTF? Isn't SABC having trouble paying their employees and paying for the crap they broadcast already? Close them all down. Fine management, destroy them and start from scratch. They ruined the economy, and got payed for it, I could do that easily but I'm not getting paid. The "economic crisis" is a load of balderdash. Theres plenty of money out there, in some dude's pocket or under the mattress, he just didn't feel like running the same company anymore and put out a story that it's broke, classic tactic, aain I could do that too, but I'm not getting paid to mess up.....

I think hybrid cars are a scam.....

Anyone else think it's all a scam? they're building 2 ton machines, upholstered with the leather of 4 or 5 cows, powered by a massive combustion engine, and a battery thats been there all along, and they've somehow managed to convince the world that it's for the good of the environment. Come on....
Remember the craze of the 'nineties', the electric car that vanished in the blink of an eye. Those were more genuine, and their manufacturers were crushed by the juggernaut that was the world's automotive industry. Now those manufacturers are crying for public sympathy as they spiral into oblivion, well, I don't give a hoot. Let them crash and burn. We'll all be better off without them.
If anyone else has biught into the hybrid scam, WAKE UP!!! It's no different from those 419 e-mail scams, they get rich, producing overpriced garbage because its the popular thing to do, and they fleece the public of their hard earned money. think about it, please.

....and so on and so forth and stuff like that....

believe it or not, thats a quote frm someone rather prominant in SA, or @ least he used 2 b prominant, having since faded in2 the cloud of smoke frm his pipe, sipping Blue label... keep walking mr pres...

We all go through it, eventually…

A stowaway on a vessel he knows nothing about, a dude at the cusp of manhood embarks on a journey. Clueless as to where the vessel bound, he at the mercy of “destiny”, he believes. Regardless of what may happen, his destiny is to be great…..
Inexperienced and naïve, he’s filled with that youthful vigor that gives the impression of invulnerability. Nothing is beyond his grasp, “the world is at your fingertips” he chants, and at this point probably believes it’s true. What foolishness, think those observing from the sanctuaries of their thoughts, forgetting that they were once of that same fold. Is this not what he’s been groomed to become? “Be a man. There’s nothing you can’t do my son”. They neglect to define the term, “a man”. Is there a sign, a signal when he overcomes that final milestone and passes through the proverbial gates of manhood?
Drifting further from the comfort and security of the life he once knew, he can’t help but be overcome by a deep joy as he reminisces over the memories. Joy, accompanied by a nervous silence, is the first sign that it may all be a façade. Gradually the monotony of all he once cherished becomes apparent as he encounters wonders unknown even to those with far more experience. One of these, the most pervasive, goes undetected. He awakens to the sudden realization, almost as if hit by a chilling gust of wind, that a void had been developing deep within him. At this stage, the void is an empty chasm that reaches and engulfs his innermost thoughts and feelings. This is so unnerving… It’s there!!! Right there!!!
Ever feel like exploding, or rather imploding…Imagine this feeling as a storm brews. All consuming, the climax of this storm will wreak havoc. He maintains a calm, gentle façade that conceals the tempest raging in the depths of his soul. With expert precision, he converts any nervous twitch or involuntary expression of emotion into a beautifully choreographed routine, cutting through the waves that attempt to pummel the vessel. This is no ordinary storm. He’s heard whispers of it in the wind, but this? No one could have prepared for this. The cracks begin to show as our hero is overcome by wave after wave. Beads of sweat appear with every breath. His youthful demeanor seems to be waning as he loses himself in the turmoil, until, as though by some higher power, silence…. She says “Hi”.....

His first crush…..
