About me

I guess I'm in the mood to actually fill this out now...

I'm Sage and I'm usually constantly lost in some sea of thoughts about one thing or another. At the moment, my current obsession is personality and personality traits. What is on my mind specifically is cleverness and cunning--does somebody learn cleverness or are they born with it? What is cunning anyway?

I guess that is a sneak peek into the thoughts of Sage.. blahmwahrawr.

I'm interested in other cultures too. Jamaican culture, for one. Others include Vietnamese, Southern Chinese, Bangali and Japanese. And for some inexplicable reason, Russian culture and the various cultures of Latin America and the Caribbean (both Spanish and English-speaking).

I hate math. Period.

I'm a rising sophomore in college and I have many friends whom I love and would do anything for. I've somehow gotten to be the vice-president of our school's GSA so I guess I'm making the world better for gay and straight people to live in together (or at least the campus).

I LOVE to write. Writing is my life and I feel like the one thing I get wrathful about is my work when others a.) steal it or b.) bullsh*t me about the quality. Honesty is the best policy and if I write something bad, I want people to tell me.

My favorite thing to write are fiction stories. Writing words is like molding the reader's world. You take them from wherever they are sitting and, if you're good enough, make them forget that they're looking at words and that they're actually in the world you've created for them. I hope that one day the world looks at my work and finds themselves floating in air as they read.

But until then, I work on my craft. One word at a time.

Never mind that I am a lazy student. :P
