WYSWYG-editors and web-content

I don’t understand for what in content editors for web-pages allowed change font name, font size and font color. Every page, after web-designer makes it, has some style. This style already has some font name, font size and font color for different part of pages as standard for this site. I didn't see sites with news or articles with different styles… I was hope Opera team will add to Opera WYSWYG-editor. Now I think: if this is a good idea, then only for mail-client. But for web-content… Mozilla and IE already support this, and what we got now? Many people, who use it, often make copy-paste for some Word-document. Have you seen source of this pasted text? Its nightmare for web-programmer, because Word has its own style sheets and a text, pasted by this method, don’t look like operator is expecting.
According to my observations for news and articles need:
- somehow to select block of text (for spaces between blocks)
- tag bold
- tag center
- tag for make links
- ordered / unordered list
- images, aligned to the left or to the right, or centered by tag center
- and somehow make simple tables
And I think forums and blogs do not have any differences from the news
