Xi’an Botanical Garden, established in 1959, was the first local botanical garden in Northwest China and a scientific research institution in which most plant species are introuduced and conservated.
The Garden covers 20 hectares and contains approximatively 3,000 plant species (including varieties). It is located in the southwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Qujiang District, Xi’an city, at 108°58′E, and 34°13 ′N, with mean annual mean temperature of 13.4℃, annual precipitation of ca.600 mm and 208 days of frost-free period per annum. Therefore Xi’an has a typically continental monsoon climate of the warm temperate zone. With its luxuriant vegetation, beautiful garden landscapes, colorful natural scenery and a rich scientific content, Xi’an Botanical Garden has become a green pearl in the Northwest China.

Shaolin Temple (in Chinese: 少林寺), also known as Shaolin Monastery, is a Buddhist temple which is ideally located at the breathtaking Songshan Mountain near Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China. Founded in the 5th century, the temple is famous for its connection with Chinese martial arts, particularly with Shaolin Kung Fu. Shaolin Temple along with its spectacular Pagoda Forest was inscribed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 2010.

The Forbidden City, marking the center of Beijing, is an enigmatic, magnificent ancient Chinese palace complex. It consists of roughly 8,708 halls and rooms. The Forbidden City was originally built in 1406 B.C. during the Ming Dynasty. The Forbidden City, covering a total area of approximately 725,000 square meters, is the largest, best-preserved ancient imperial palace in China. It is the imperial residence of totally 24 feudal emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Forbidden City is of a rectangle shape, about 753 meters wide from west to east and about 961 meters long from the south to the north. The Forbidden City which has been converted into a fantastic museum is a must-see if you take China Tours.
