About me

Over educated for most jobs(that is what they tell me) over 50, married. I have lots of things I like to do. I write poetry, create art, like cats, have cats(like dogs but don't have any now but did). Did not have children by choice and now I am still glad I did not. But I like children. I am a vegetarian and always wonder why people get so defensive when I say that; I have not asked them to be a vegetarian. Used to be religious but got over that and my life is much more calm and peaceful. The worst thing about me is once I learn something I can't unlearn it. My old life ended on 9/11 and the new one began and it has been down hill since then. But I won't be like my cousins and great aunts and uncle in 1939. I like hearing the stories of my husband he grew up in another world from me and I will write his story it is very interesting and of value to others from poor countries.

My work

My current work is housewife, I am doing a makeover of my kitchen- a kitchen of a refugee that needs to stay for a while. So I am now a decorator and will be the painter and sewer of the curtains and such. I read- I have just gotten in 3 new books since all my books are at home and this is a temporary home. I have been watching TV- what a wasteland!! I get bored -hence I am on facebook and My Opera- I like My Opera best,

I used to be a college/university English Professor- now I am unemployed.( a result of 9/11 I think the Saudi Government should compensate me for my loss of employment since it was their people who did the plane bombings business -I won't hold my breath)
So I will consider myself an artist and writer. I write plays(one is produced) I have edited movie scripts. I have 3 movie scripts written that need polishing and money to produce. But I did like teaching.
