v.plonk!

I cooked some more ("salmon cream sauce with noodles" and "sourkraut gnocchi") and both dishes were pretty good. The people in the company are still alive and nobody complained (in fact some even praised my sourkraut... and the salmon was clearly better).

I finally have a real bed now, that replaces my folding bed. My dad and I created it on ourselves, just buying the wood, ten metal angles, around 50 screws and a good (expensive!) mattress. And as I paid cash, the whole bed was cheaper than the mattress itself would have costed.

The work is going to cause me sleepness nights. My current project gets launched at the end of this week and we are not done yet. My colleague and I even worked this weekend... we just hope we can get it done in time. But today I prepared my boss that one week after the launch (so we can fix the most important bugs), I'm going to have one week off from work. I really need some relaxing sleep without thinking about my ToDo lists.

My few hours off I spend (beside sleeping) playing Mass Effect on my PC. I really think I should cancel my subscriptions of WoW and Age of Conan, as I'm not playing any MMO anymore (WoW for more than 1 year now). Mass Effect has a very nice setting and the controls are very PC-like. I even bough the initial novel to the game...

I was at a garage with my car, as whenever I accelerate the car makes some really worrying noises. But I got told that it's not much of a problem and there's no real need to fix it. It's just that the exhaust got a bit lose and when I hit the gas the vibrations of the engine make the exhaust rattle inside an outer protection case. Sounds like my car is going the fall apart every moment (as long as I'm not on the motorway), but nothing will happen.

My norwegian course has started again. I'm very happy about that, so from now on I have a good excuse for leaving the company in time every Monday. Kjempeflott!

I decided to start dancing (again), when new courses start in October. I found some interesting schools in/around Cologne, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. I really need some more activity, so maybe I'll even look out for some other sports like volley ball? Dunno yet about that.

Concerning the CSS lessons... I'm still looking for a new, interesting topic. Maybe a something completely different, like hacking the menu? Even though I don't think that my menu is something very unusual. Maybe something MORE difficult, like a complete rework of the design? Now that sounds like a challenge.


So as you can see... nothing happened... except some minor incidents.
