CSSing your my.opera site - the basic usage

the basic steps for your own stylesheet
So you're reading on? Good, so let's get directly into it. First you open your own blog site. I suggest that you do it in a new browser tab, so you can switch back and forward while reading this step-by-step guide.
Step 1
Open your Account page. It's a submenu of My page.

Step 2
Select the subpart Design, right under the four big configuration parts.
Step 3
Select a basic theme from the list now shown. I recommend that you start with one of the basic themes like "Silver", "Darkside" or "Blue". Just select the one that supports your idea the most, then click on custom style sheet.

Step 4
A large text form will open. There you write your CSS-code. For more information about that, see my others lessons or search the web. For german speaking users I recommend visiting de.selfhtml.org.
Step 5
At the end of that page you'll see a big Save button. When you're done with your CSS, select one of the options (usually the first one) and hit Save. Then go back to your website and check the results of your work.
I hope this small guide will help some people to get used to their my.opera-account and how to modify their blog to make it more personal and unique. I'm looking forward to see new great designs coming up! And remember:
There are no problems, just different solutions!
