Can't wait to get my hands on the Dragon Age Toolset...

My Opera Finalist - Best blog design

Woohoo! I'm a finalist in the Best blog design Competition 2008!

Very happy about it, though I

a) don't stand a chance against some people with LARGE friendship lists
b) the design isn't completely fixed yet, since the last update broke some parts and
c) the new design isn't finished yet. Duh!

My personal top 5 were (in alphabethical order, I won't tell you for whom of those I voted):
http://my.opera.com/coxy/blog/
http://my.opera.com/demiphonic/blog/
http://my.opera.com/katinka_21/blog/
http://my.opera.com/Nplus/blog/
http://my.opera.com/Ryuu/blog/

So please have a look around and decide yourself.
(I won't complain if you vote for me though).

nice set up, and will be real nice once it gets "refixed" after the little mishap with the new Opera setup

I like this blog.. I think I was one of the people who nominated you.. but I voted for phamlam.. although.. I wanted sooo much to vote for Heiko (Ryuu).

David 7. December 2008, 13:28

I totally understand you. Ryuu's design is really outstanding.

But it was too late. I was so caught up in phamlam's that I didn't notice Ryuu's work.

David 8. December 2008, 08:31

I think he just had the best advertising. Phamlam's isn't bad, it's just not my cup of tea. I prefer simple, clean and technically improved layouts.

If i were the judge David you'd have it in the bag! I love it coz it's condensed and the popout panels are smart, the overall colouring thruout the css is controled and the hue is both eye catching as well as easy on the eye so navigating is enjoyable

So far it's the best compromise between styled for Wii and still not too small. I'm thinking about better ways, but that won't come this year.

Guess what... there's this female finalist for BEST BLOG by a MALE! hahaha!

If forgot who she is... but she's getting a lot of votes and her blog is in vietnamese.

Kimberly 10. December 2008, 15:30

@ princess: its wickedlizard...Lissy is a FEMALE not male to which she was voted under

David 10. December 2008, 19:33

I never ever delete any posts (except for spam and illegal stuff). I'm innocent.

Kimberly 11. December 2008, 04:51

i had stated that if you hold your mouse over the side ------> that it actually shows the items that don't fit here like normal.

that is how i was able to vote in your poll, otherwise i would have never been able to get to it, had i not "accidentally" ran across it like that...lol

David 11. December 2008, 08:44

Oh that hovering is an intended effect. I hate it, when the content is so small, and this idea seemed to fix it nicely.

Kimberly 12. December 2008, 14:54

oh ok...its cool too
